Good news to hear. I firmly believe the franchises fate rest more on that guy, than anything else. Free agents make nice additions. Stars win championships. If Greg doesn't pan out, our chances are much lower. So hearing good news, is nice in a summer of bad ju-ju

I want Pryz..it just makes us that much better....now if we sign Lee, then yes, moving Przy becomes easier, but not if no moves are made before hand.
 
I'm pretty sure it is Casey as I was under the impression that Jim Taylor is Blazersflack. Casey is pretty even headed about his commentary, and since there are multiple media members there it's not like he is saying anything that can't be refuted.
 
Is any non-Blazer employee providing similar updates?

I want to get excited about this. I really, really do. But I want to temper that excitement until an impartial source says the same stuff.

I have a friend that is a beat writer who is there as well. He is not associated in any way with the Blazers, and he said, and I quote....."Your boy Oden looks like a totally different player. He is ultra quick on his defensive rotations, and is nasty as hell"

Well my guess he is busy emptying folks bank accounts from all the data he stole off the computers with the virus he planted. So he is a little busy right now!:ghoti:

Oh I wouldn't believe Barrett, but Casey has had criticism of Greg before and is pretty even-headed on commentary. He's not going to blast sunshine out of his ass at level 10 like Barrett.

:) I guess that is what happens after a kid is finally cleared to do leg work after two years. Let's hope it continues to carry over.

Believe me I know he's GOD, but no way in hell you will hear anything negative, even like greg missed a shot, thats how the blazers operate. Ever read a Mike Barrett blog?

And if that same employee said Oden was a bust during the game you would say?

I'll take any good news I can this summer, and I'll enjoy it how I please. It's been a long summer of failure, and sometimes any good news can help brighten things up.

I couldn't agree with you more.

My friend, however, doesn't work for Portland. He's not from Portland, nor is he a fan of the team. I believe him if he says Greg looks good.
