Yankees Bolster Catching Depth, Add Promising Bullpen Arm (msn.com)

After re-signing catcher Rob Brantly on a minor league deal earlier in the month, the Yankees added two more catching options to their system in David Freitas and Rodolfo Duran.

Freitas, 32, has not appeared in the big leagues since 2019 with the Brewers and his career-high for regular season games played in the majors is just 36. Freitas played in Korea last year, before joining the Tampa Bay Rays’ Triple-A affiliate. In 16 games, Freitas slashed .245/.364/.434 in Triple-A in 2021.

I've been seeing for predominant news about Correa going to the Yankees. The most outspoken have seem to have forgotten what Correa and company did in 2017 to screw the Yankees in the ALCS. On the other hand, just as many fans do not want to see him in the Bronx myself included!
Sure he can play baseball offensively and defensively, but I hate his fucking attitude and failure to properly make a sincere apology or restitution.

Yeah. Boone is an idiot so that’s expected. Yanks only 8 mill under luxury cap now so to fill the roster Hal is going to have to go over the luxury tax limit unless he listens to Boone. Will be interesting to see in that first series at Toronto may 2,3 and 4 if their Vacc rules are still in place what yanks won’t be able to play. Boone said several still unvaccinated and 1 of them rumored to be judge!

Looking at the proposed Yankee Defense on MLB Network I'd say the Yankees need a First Baseman, Catcher, Shrt Stop, and Center Fielder for starters.

Well, they just traded for a GG shortstop. Will probably either sign freeman or trade for Olsen. Still need a catcher and probably means hicks back in center at least until he gets hurt again

Rortvedt is a left-handed hitter and Higgi is a right handed hitter so they may just platoon them depending on the starting pitcher… Unless of course, the Yanx find a better option behind the plate as a starter.
