Believe it or not, but I've been interested in a career in Law Enforcement. Not really sure why, but I seem to have some kind of attachment to it. And it's not like one of those sudden interests, either.

But it's not like I want to be a regular cop, more like a detective.

Thoughts?

call your local police force and ask if they allow citizen drive-alongs.

my wife did this one night, but in full disclosure I don't know whether any citizens can go along, or if she was just allowed to because of her job at the time. It's possible that it is limited to press and other people in certain jobs.

I want to eventually get into the Criminology field. I'm so fascinated by the minds of Rapists, serial killers, etc...

I've been taking CJ classes for awhile now, it is my major. I'm not sure if I want to go Federal or Local, though. My dad and grandpa have been doing Federal Law Enforcement their entire lives, and I know an abundance of local law enforcement officers.

Only person that I'm fascinated in is Jack the Ripper, but I'm off topic.....

If you love it, pursue it.

I don't like law enforcement, Joker.

Follow your dreams and don't let the man get you down dude :D

If this is true Joker I'm putting you on my ignore list, because I don't snitch.

I thought someone else on this forum might be a cop.

JK, those are generally, good hardworking folks.

Anyone living in NY know anything about John Jay College?

I don't like the legal system, but I'm going to try and be a lawyer. Won't be criminal law.
