He'll be dealt, but I don't think they're in a rush to give him away. They'll wait until the right deal comes along. Daryl Morey ain't no fool!

Yeah, there are about 26 teams that Asik would be the starting center start for. They will have their pick of suitors.

Sucks to think we drafted this guy.

@NBAGuru: Fun Fact: NBA's average height last year (6.5.98") was the lowest its ever been since the league started official tracking back in '85-86.

In the early 90s (and probably late 80s - I didn't care about basketball then) there was a league that had a height limit - so you couldn't be taller than about 6'5". Anyone remember this? That would be so awesome for people like Chuck Hayes. Maybe the NBA is slowly becoming that league.

Lots of ways to interrupt that. Less 7 footers? more short quick PG's due to the new rules, shorter SG's for the same reason? Lot of potential possibilities. But I like it. In general shorter guys have more skills. Never a fan of guys making the NBA just because of their height.

I wouldn't have guessed that. Forwards are much taller in today's game, but like Pinwheel said, there are few true 7'ers now and even fewer of the 7'7" freaks. Plus, so many guards are combo guards, that the back court average may be brought down a bit.

What is Royce's status head wise? Is he making road trips?

Hes played @ Cle, @ Cha, and @ Bos thus far this preseason. I believe part of the reason Philly was interested was because they have among the least travel of all the NBA teams, and probably among the most bus trips, as opposed to trips that require flight.

I think this is his first game playing homie. Hope he crushes it this year

Greg doesn't bother me. I'm more bothered by:
Steven Adams - 7 rebounds in 15 mins so far
Dennis Schroder - 21 pts, 8-12, 4 assists in 35 mins
Highlight dunk by Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Greg Oden reacts to Heat debut: 'I'm happy I'm able to walk off the court'

I wouldn't have picked Schroeder (at all, with Lillard and our holes at SG and C) or Adams at 10, so if they do well, good on them.

I liked Alphabet Soup a lot, and if we'd traded Batum or LMA and had multiple picks, then he definitely would've been one--but I don't see anybody in our front office picking a raw kid with tons of upside at 10 while still "going for it" this year. :dunno:

So I know we came out of the 2012 Draft like Bandits, just by the fact that we drafted Dame. He's amazing and an argument could be made he should have been drafted 1st overall (even though The Brow is great). But daaaaaaaaaaaaamn Andre Drummond. Imagine if we drafted him... one of the great drafts of all time. Come on MyLe be better you bitch! :devilwink:

Josh McBob tonight starting at PF for Charlotte in a win.

Thompson had a pretty beastly game against Washington. 17 points and 14 boards. So far the #1 overall pick has looked very.... underwhelming though.

The Suns are dirty.... I hate that team. The Morris twins are assholes, as is Tucker.

Okay, so first of all..... McBob has long hair?

Second, he looks bigger than when he played in Portland. I wonder if he's grown a bit.
