@BlazerFreeman: The #Blazers held a "non-contact" practice today. So, no scrimmaging, 3x3, 4x4 or 5x5 work. The focus today was offense, shooting, etc.

Responding to earlier in the thread, while I doubt opening day will be delayed, you are right that the government shutdown will make the preseason unwatchable if it extends that far.

38mpg? I hope not. Isn't that what he played last year? I know you want your best players on the floor, but with the amount of guards we have I really hope his mpg average comes down to 35mpg MAX, and perhaps as low as 33mpg.

Ideally I would take him out with two minutes left in the 1st/3rd and put him back in with 8 left in the 2nd/4th. That would come out to 36 per game. Maybe with a few blow outs (Winning or losing end) that number comes down. Of course any OT's would bump it back up........

Aren't you at the game? He averaged 38+ but averaging 38 means you had 40 on a few nights. He certainly didn't average 40.

I mis-heard. Around 1:53 he says "I probably won't be playing 38 minutes...". First time I listened I just heard "I'll probably be playing 38m..."
