I'm not sure why you are sighing?
Roy is a top 5 player at his possition, but Harris might be as well. Then you add Yi and the #3 pick and I think that's a good deal.

You just seem to be contradicting yourself. You say it takes big star guys to get it done in the playoffs, and then you want to trade the Blazers big star player and not get one in return(I don't consider Harris one).
You guys are talking as if every team is "wheeling and dealing." WTF. There has only been ONE deal that has involved a rotation player so far in the past week.
Chill.
I'd rather KP not do anything, than pull a deal that doesn't make sense, just because...

KP is done, dude.

Some people despise him for it, but I think it's his biggest strength. He knows he has a good roster that can do some things and isn't going to change it just to change it.
What is known is he feels the same way we all do - this teams needs a PG. But acquiring a good one isn't easy.
That is what happens when you love all of your young guys. His relationship with his players really hurt trade talk, I imagine.
I can't wait to read all of your posts about how the Blazers flamed out in the playoffs next year. I wonder what the excuse will be? Youth? Injuries?
Did I say he wasn't....DUDE?
In all seriousness.
Don't we have a top 10 PG on our roster now? I can't really think of many PG's that are a lot better than Miller.
We seem to have a good player at every possition. Miller is good, Roy is very good, Batum is good, Aldridge is good, Camby or Oden or Joel are good
Haha, you alright there?

If Miller were 25 years old, he'd be fine. Since he's only got maybe a couple of top-level years left in him, he misses this teams window.
Miller most likely won't be here after next year. And I still don't buy him and Roy are necessarily a great match, but at least they're much better than before. A PG that is a good 3PT shooter is desirable imo.
That's fair, but are you saying this teams window is still 3 years away? That's scary for many reasons. Brandon's knees, Oden's body, PA's health. Most were all talking like last year was the begining of our window.
NO MORE ROOKIES!!!!!!!

Then might it be better to just try and get the best shooter, and move Roy to the point?

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised to see that most of the blame will fall on Nate (deserved or not).
