With no imminent resolution between the owners and NBAPA I think a lot of fans will turn to NCAA even closer this year. I'll be scouting more than ever, that's for sure.

If there is no 2011/2012 season how the hell are they going to determine draft order?

Anyway, one player I'm going to keep a close eye on is 6'9" C Patric Young:

I dont understand your infatuation with bigs that are offensively limited.

Great question on the draft order! How are they going to figure out #1?

Have our GM show Stern the x-rays of Roy's and Oden's knees and see if he'll give us the first pick out of pity.

#1 MIA
#2 LAL
#3 NYK
#4 CHI
#5 BOS
#6 BOS
#7 CHI
#8 NYK
#9 LAL
#10 MIA

Rinse and repeat.

This would be kick ass if we could find out what the real answer is to this.

It would have to be weighted somehow though.

I'd bet they'd just use the same draft order as this past draft, re-doing the lottery, of course.

This doesn't conform to Coons CBA section IV(f)(3). "San Antonio always gets the 1st pick in the draft a couple of years before their former 1st pick in the draft retires, unless no superstar big man is available, else wait till college seniorhood or subsequent Naval commitment voids, whichever comes first."

According to Draft Xpress 2012 mock, there will be 8 power forwards in the top 17 picks. Maybe target one of those. Unless Oden is injured again, then, well, then we're just screwed because Camby will be finished and there aren't any good centers in the draft.

In the NHL they took the last 5 seasons (I think) average records and did it that way. So in the NBA, the draft would look like this

MIN
SAC
LAC
NJ
WAS
MEM
NY
MIL
IND
CHA
OKC
GS
TOR
PHI
MIA
DET
ATL
POR
CHI
NO
CLE
HOU
UTA
DEN
PHO
BOS
SA
ORL
LAL
DAL

Most where they should be. Some get hosed, and some catch a break

i believe you are correct, but then they had a lottery, weighted to the order you came up with

and fucking okc gets the 11th pick and miami the 15th
