I'm one of those who actually loves watching random summer league games. Starts tomorrow FAMS!

Eastern. Start at 6AM......NBATV is broadcasting EVERY game! I love it. Means we'll get to see all the Blazers games in Vegas.

For some reason I'm up and watching this... I guess I really do miss basketball...

First game- Philly: Carter-Williams looks basically like the scouting reports said, gets beat defensively a lot but he uses his length to get some steals so it's not all bad. Offensively his shot from outside is just off, he can get into the lane pretty well even vs a defensive pg like Beverly and can sometimes finish using his height/length but overall his lack of strength makes finishing through contact pretty shakey. That lack of strength with his somewhat loose/high dribble style also causes him to loose the ball alot. PTs/Reb/Ast in the boxscore look good but it was very inefficient.

Houston- Beverly honestly looked like the better PG, despite not as flashy numbers and managing to pick up a bunch of fouls he just looked tough out there. Finished strong, pressured the ball on D, got into lanes and brought hard doubles, just played hard.

Terrence Jones- Looked good, didn't think he was doing enough to finish with 24/12 but he did look good out there. If he can get a consistent 3 he could be a nice talented stretch 4 for them next to Howard.

Poor Nolan takes his Portland luck with him - already injured and not returning.

Former Blazer News- Nolan Smith out of the game for Boston and the announcers say he won't return, lower leg injury.

Oladipo is beasting. 18pts, 6rebs, 7asts, 5stl

Man, NBA.com really jacked up the price to stream games. It was something like $4.99 just a year ago. I'll pass.

Re: Oladipo

He is playing a position that he never did before at PG. He looked like the best player out there in this game

lol, at +/- guys like its not a team stat.

Osby did so good that Olynyk was a +7 on him

Oladipo needs to learn from Olynyk about shooting efficiency. 5/13 from the field is Waiters type stuff and I'm a huge Oladipo guy.

This is pretty close to the actual lineup UTA might throw out there.

Before the draft I compared Burke to Jonny Flynn. He looks tiny out there.
