Raymond Felton also told reporters: "Stop trying to attack my weight all the time. I had one year that I was out of shape. That was it."

Poor Fatty McFelton. People won't stop picking on him.

Watching Heat vs OKC last night was a fun game to watch. A couple of time switches happened and Bosh was Guarding Durant and it worked out well everytime. If we were to play them again this year i'd like to see LMA on Durant for a little bit, see if the added length/bulk effects Durant at all.

It would be an interesting matchup because so much of Durant's success is predicated on him being able to simply shoot over someone. I would have loved to see Sheed in his prime guard Durant.

Would need to get a way for Durant to talk shit to Sheed before the game to get him motivated to Guard Durant. Sheed was a beast but when he locked in on a game he would be the best player on both ends of the court but i only ever saw him get locked in when he felt slighted by the other team.

LMA is a different type player than Bosh. He can not guard someone who can dribble that far from the basket. They go right around him. He just not have the lateral quickness. He needs to stay around the basket like most bigs. If Batum is in foul trouble against Durant, I think TRob and Claver are our best bets.

Drummond went 0-8 at the FT line.

Begs the question: what is the most attempts in a single game without a make?

Also, SA has 28 points and it's almost half time against the Suns. Our defense must be really bad. lol.

Chicago is putting a beating on Denver.

Chicago with 44 points off the bench through 3 quarters. A bench of Snell/Augustin in the backcourt (17 pts each) and Muhammed/Gibson in the frontcourt (10 points). It seems at times that the Blazers can go a week without that much bench scoring, yet look at the scrubs putting up points for Chicago tonight.

Memphis up 12 against LAC.... 9 to go. Go Memphis!

Tough choice for me. Memphis/Dallas are both only 5 games in the loss column behind the Blazers for the playoffs. I'd rather they start losing games as long as LMA is out.

I dunno... if we do our job and at least get some wins... the people below us can't make up ground, and we can gain ground on the ones that are right with us.

Watching this game tonight against Utah, the Blazers are going to need teams behind them to lose. If it's either Memphis or Dallas that go on a losing streak, then great. If it's both, even better. Without LMA, the Blazers are a non-playoff team, and may not win even 25 games.

Luckily he's only out for a couple weeks (I say a couple just in case when he gets re-checked he misses a bit more time)

I get so tired of hearing what the team won't be able to do..the more time bench players get before the playoffs, the better they'll be. Never understood why some folks can't see the big picture and just go off snapshots of individual performances or games. It's 82 in the regular season and it always has ups and downs. This is the perfect time to rest joel and LaMarcus.

Huh?

Well, to be fair, we're not resting them... they have injuries and are required to stay out...

You could as easily spin, without LeBron James the Heat wouldn't be a playoff team, Without Paul George the Pacers won't be a playoff team, etc...what is your point?

If this was Cleveland, yes... but the Heat actually have a good record when Lebron isn't in the line up (and they beat us when we were rolling)

Actually, we had a much better record than the Heat when LeBron was out. Still has nothing to do with my point which is that you subtract the allstars from multiple teams and they may not be playoff teams. I stand by my point, whether it's LeBron, Melo, George, Kobe, etc...in our case LaMarcus. This was in response to the post about we're not good team without LaMarcus. It was also not one of your posts.

Melo is on New york, and they aren't a play off team. Outlier? Perhaps.

And why can't I respond to a response that wasn't to my posts? Message boards would cease to exist if that were the case.

My point is that the Blazers aren't as good without LMA, so I want the teams behind them in the standings to lose games. I still view making the playoffs as a big goal for the season. Next year, this young team will still be able to add pieces to it. Every win counts, IMO, and tonight's win by the Blazers was a big deal, IMO.
