Maybe it's just me, but it's starting to feel like low post PFs are becoming devalued in the NBA like RBs in the NFL.

@WojYahooNBA: The Sacramento Kings will select Nik Stauskas with the No. 8 pick, league source tells Yahoo Sports.>>>>

Over Payton?!

they won't be announced until end of Round One by the Commish, and I'm sure that the teams are waiting to see how the lotto plays out before starting the swap meet.

@the_ironsheik: Marcus Smart or Marcus dumb son of a bitch? #NBADraft2014>>>>>

The Iron Sheik with his usual earthy wisdom.

Yeah, I noticed that also. Moving towards the wings while some are still reaching for centers.

doubt it. I'm sure he knows some of the permutations ("if CLE does this, we'll do this", etc) but I don't think even the teams will pull the trigger until the end of the lotto and knowing where the players they want landed.

Marcus Smart makes so much sense if you're trading Rondo. If not... :dunno:

And if they keep Bradley, is that the worst outside-shooting backcourt trio in NBA history?

I always find it funny how the fringe writers will tweet 5-10 minutes later that they were "told" by their "sources" that so and so is about to be taken by such and such team.

Come on man, you get your info from Woj, just like the rest of us.

Aaron Gordon literally took millions away from Vonleh.

The moral of the story, boys and girls, is take your pre-draft weigh-ins and workouts seriously.

@DarrenWolfson: Word on Vonleh: doubt he gets to #Twolves at 13. Buzz is Philly at 10.

I wonder if McDermott is going to drop significantly. I never really understood the projections of him in the top 10, honestly.

The teams at 8/9/10 could use shooting.

i feel like nobody slipped really, top 7 were the best 7 guys

I know they said they aren't trading, but Stauskas at 8 to SAC still keeps alive a Stauskas-for-Rondo swap. Smart/Stauskas is a decent backcourt.

Comparing Stauskas to Petrovic! That would be a dream for the Kings.
