and what was he supposed to do? haven't we had enough young guys? haven't we been talking about adding vets and experience to one of the worst benches in the league? I think the Blazers were likely realistic, nothing came up to their satisfaction, and now the focus is improving the bench in free agency (MLE-BAE vet minimum) as it was likely to be all along

If this draft is so deep then I think that there will be some undrafted FA rookies who may be decent out there. How many times do we see a FA plays who plays great in summer league or is one of the last players to get cut in the fall that we wish we had a spot for. Lot of guys like that who are as good as the 2nd rounders drafted.
