and what was he supposed to do? haven't we had enough young guys? haven't we been talking about adding vets and experience to one of the worst benches in the league? I think the Blazers were likely realistic, nothing came up to their satisfaction, and now the focus is improving the bench in free agency (MLE-BAE vet minimum) as it was likely to be all along

After the story Mike and Mike told about making up a Jermaine to Portland rumor on a flight to LA, I'm not surprised if journalists get it wrong a lot.
