He has Connaughton athleticism. When he gets some room or gets an open lane he looks athletic, but he's unable to use his athleticism to create space or consistently attack. He has a slow first step and doesn't change directions quickly, much like Connaughton.

Also, he's 6'6.5 in shoes.. he's not getting that high on any of those dunks. The posterizing ones he had the shot blocker was either way above him and missed the ball (Ibaka) or jumped way too late (Turner).
 
Was just out at the Practice Facility for my annual flu shot. The boys were going at it out there. Great seeing them back at it, getting in some quality runs. Zach Collins looks BIG!

Detective Colombo checking in. It’s all fresh ink he had done in the summer. He also filled out his left arm. I think it’d look better if he filled out the other side of his body as well, but still looks pretty cool imo.

Now if he could do something about that haircut..

The only thing related to 3s this rookie will be hitting this season is the number of vets bags he's taking to rooms on road trips. Or cups of gatorade he'll hand out each time out.

Exactly. I got mine in Singapore in 1973 while in the navy. My family and my friends (and their parents) thought I was walking on the wild side......though most of my friends wished they had the balls to get one. My parents were grateful I had put it on my upper arm where it was covered by short sleeve shirts. Especially since their given names were included in the “art”. Some days I’d like to have my avatar tattooed on my other arm but (besides the fact my wife would divorce me) it’s just become too commonplace, and even passe’. Seems like it’s more “edgier” these days being a clean skin......

No sir I don't. Same as I said about Biggie last season. I look at it as.....it's not is he going to play, it's who ISN'T gong to play. Who's playing time is he going to take? I think injuries are his only hope to get some run.

Interesting. You could be right. I kind of expect him and simons to get a few minutes here and there in garbage time. Biggie got some minutes early in the year last year too, but you were basically right about him it sounds like.

I think Trent’s best chance for any sort of rotational type minutes is if they play him at the 3. It sounded like they expect to give him a shot at minutes.

Do you think Biggie gets more minutes this year? I kind of think the lack of bigs may force him into more playing time.

I'm sure they'd LIKE to give the two rookies some playing time. But like I said, where are they going to get the time? Stotts and Dame want to win games, I don't think they are worried about development of young guys. I mean, I can see the 2 free agents getting run before them as well. Not sure what the plan was with these draft pics and signings and then letting Ed go. This is the reason I'm going with #40Wins this season.

I don't think I see anything different as far as ON court stuff goes......You guys see everything I do and more. The perspective I definitely see and am surrounded by is the OFF court chemistry situation. The vibe of the guys. I never share it on here, because quite a few people are on this site and read and see all the stuff that gets posted. I get shit for posting stuff sometimes, but more in a joking manner. I never post conversations I hear or interactions I see. Or if somebody is wearing a splint or brace after a game on the plane. I'm not about to get fired to be an insider for his joint for sure.
