The guy who lives in an uppity neighborhood in the whitest city in America is flexing his multicultural hood pass again :biglaugh:

For starters, it's not the "whitest" city in the US. It's not as diverse as other cities are, but it's not like it's 90% white (it's about 68-71% white...68 if you don't count Hispanics that are considered "white").

Also, you live in Wyoming ffs. It's 82-87% white. You don't get to talk shit about anything regarding Johns "multicultural hood pass", unless you want to come off like a complete and utter clown. There are 7x the # of black people in Portland *alone* than there is in your entire state (and there aren't 7x as many people in Portland as there are in Wyoming).

So shut all the way up.

Portland is the whitest major city in the US.

As the U.S. becomes more racially diverse, Portland remains the whitest U.S. city with a population over 500,000. It is also a site where African Americans, Latinxs, Indigenous groups, and Asian Americans have worked to build community despite the city's history of racial violence and exclusion.

The Racist History of Portland, the Whitest City in America
It’s known as a modern-day hub of progressivism, but its past is one of exclusion.

Fake news.

I lived in the Woodlawn neighborhood for awhile and went into the neighborhood Safeway on MLK and Ainsworth and several times I was the only white dude.

You're not saying anything that contradicts what I said. HE didn't say "whitest MAJOR" city. Nor does it take away the fact he lives in Wyoming, which has like 4k *total* black people and just a hair under 85% white people.

This might shock you, but the US's past is one of exclusion too.

I think if you equalized the Asian %, I'm fairly certain Seattle would be just about as white as Portland is. So the secret is to get more Asians here!

Every class I had growing up in school was half black. From kindergarten thru HS.
I would be at the park playing ball as the only white kid. So the stats may show it, but I never saw it.
I DO love somebody from Wyoming talking shit about my neighborhood I grew up in and live in now.

Just for our friend from Wyoming….. had a HS get together 2 nights ago…. Great seeing old friends. I guess it depends on what part of town you live in right?

I assume trump is just creatively describing large tariffs. He's senile but behind it is a policy. It's not a good one--fascist protectionism is note good, for america or the world-- but on this one I have to say it's relatively coherent and just more of his 2016 and 2020 plans, nothing new. I wish liberals would stop disingenuously trying to pretend everything he says is a sign of dementia because his actual policy is horseshit and deserves to be ridiculed.

Anyone watch the CNN interview with Harris and Walz?

The good thing is there were no huge JD Vance like gaffes, but it was kind of boring. But boring is good, because it means they aren't saying anything stupid or nonsensical.

Seeing multiple tweets that Harris needed a man sitting next to her to do the interview because she couldn't do it on her own.

If that's all they got, the interview was a success.

That's on par with the "ShE dIdN't WoRk At McDoNaLdS!" shit they're doing. Meaning, they got nothing.
