Caroline Giuliani endorsed Harris. She said following Trump caused her father to crash and burn and pleaded with him to leave Trump orbit and work to restore his life and reputation. Unlikely to happen. It's true Trump drags everyone down but Rudy is a grown ass man, he is responsible for his actions.

Maybe if Trump wouldn't have lied about COVID and told people to go out so they could get infected we wouldn't have been hit so hard and wouldn't have had to shut down?

Jeeze... I guess it was his fucking fault.

There is so much wrong with what you said, I'm not going to spend 12 hours correcting it, but for one, the most strict lockdowns were early as soon as the pandemic was declared. They were almost universal, but "red" states opened up sooner while blue states tended to keep them going longer. They were cheerleading the lockdowns which caused the unemployment.

States controlled lockdowns, not Trump.

Yeah pretty much none of that has anything to do with what I said. Nice try though.

Trump fucked up and got a bunch of people killed with COVID.

The states only recourse was to lock down. The states that lock down more had 30% fewer deaths.

It's not like Trump left them with a choice once he said that it's all over we don't need to do anything further we've got it contained.

Thought this article was an interesting read...published in August.

https://phys.org/news/2024-08-room-nuance-polarized-political-climate.html

"The study exposes a mismatch between expectation and social reality," says Aviva Phillipp-Muller. "Taking a nuanced position on political issues and coming to a middle ground might seem like a sensible way to bridge political divides, which is what participants in our study expected, but the reality is political polarization has turned those kinds of stances into a social disincentive."

Contrary to participants' expectations, people expressing ambivalence about political issues can undermine how well a person is liked, to the point of sharing nuanced opinions being a social risk. Not only were ambivalent people disliked more by those who had different political opinions as them, they also proved to be unpopular with people who largely held the same beliefs.

You may not understand what it has to do with what you said, but that's not surprising.

John Hopkins actually did a big study on lockdown measures and found they had no benefit.

But we were originally talking about jobs. The job loss came from the lockdowns that Dems cheerlead, blaming it on Trump is absurd.

Ana has woken up, why won't you? You're in the party of Dick Cheany now, and you don't even blink. All you know is "orange man bad".

The job losses came from the shutdowns that Trump forced by being a corrupt idiot.

No, there is not a study that showed the lockdowns had no impact. The studies showed that the states with the most strict policies saw on average 30% lower death rates.

So once again, Trump's idiotic and selfish policies are what caused the spikes and joblessness.

As the war broadens, it will definitely hurt Harris' chances. Maybe that's what Genocide Joe wants?

A story came out yesterday that says Joe has had shouting matches with Bibi and knows he doesn't want a ceasefire. So why can't he cut the funds/weapons? Does Mossad have something on Joe?
