It will be a carnival of chaos, like his first term, only bigger and angrier. He'll be more successful at implementing his moronic ideas, which will provoke more backlash, which will provoke him to try even crazier shit. Many of the things he's promised to do he'll have forgotten about by January, so I don't think the blueprint is necessarily what we need to worry about most.

barfo

It will be worse. He won't have anyone to tell him no this time and in fact will be surrounded by people who will push for the same and even worse shit.

Trump voters were overwhelmingly motivated by hatred for trans people and a desire to curtail or eliminate trans rights, according to the AP voter exit polls.

Transphobia was the primary wedge issue and it worked. They spent $140 for every trans person in America to run those ads and it paid rich dividends. There will be a lot of us dead because of this.

I know we don't have the data yet, but this election surely debunks the myth that every woman under 40 in America is purely motivated politically by abortion.

I was told genocide and Cheney endorsements would not stop Kamala from winning...
Those two factors sealed my fate as a non voter this year. I know a mail in vote for a Democrat in Chicago wasn't going to decide the election or anything, but the whole neo-con rehabilitation as a form of coalition building explanation was not all that compelling to me.

If I don't see you until after Christmas, have a good one.

I read alot of bad takes on here. This is one of the worst.

So all the cheating didn't happen right? I paid close attention to real indicators and this was obvious a week ago.

Anyway my most important race here in Vancouver is Marie Perez vs Joe Kent. Still hoping Perez can win that.

As it looks now voters across America simply didn't turn out again. Looks like at this point under 140 million people voted. In 2020 almost 160 million voted.
Some of that gap will close. The votes are not all in yet but it's obvious people are election weary. If you did not vote you have nothing to complain about.

The numbers could go up a fair amount. The last few states are at around 50% counted.

Also, how are the last few states at only about 50% counted? Lol. Always amazes me how a few states every election manage to completely fumble the the science of “counting the things until there are no more of the things”

Only one state is still around 60%. California which obviously has the largest voting base. Every other major state (Texas, New York, Florida) is 98-99%.
Democrats did not show up to this election. It's very clear.

I saw this coming a week ago (actually in July). Posted it on here and got blasted.

It's insane that we don't have the counts complete within a few hours of the polls closing.

30 minutes from poll closing should be the norm. If anything goes wrong it should be handled within the hour. A few hours at absolute worst.

Mail-in ballots can still come in for up to a week as long as they're postmarked by election night.
That should be the only exception.

But let's be real. There is no reason usps can't get those delivered same day as well. Everything is local.

They will be. They close at 8pm and ballots need to be postmarked by then. It's simply unreasonable to expect them to get them completely counted in a few hours. Mail doesn't work like that and neither does collection sites.
Now if they went completely digital then sure but who would trust that?

They should only be counting election day votes on election day. Everything else should already be counted. I'd actually be fine if mail in ballots had to be postmarked a day earlier.

So are we using the project 2025 agenda as our doomsday bingo cards?

I'm just trying to wait this out for another 4 years and hopefully Dems will get their shit together and get behind a platform for the people instead of for the billionaires and special interests.

Nothing we can do about project 2025 now. It'll happen or it won't.

Pretty big list.
