Kamala didn't do well with framing her ideas for dealing with the middle east (Trump didn't either but that's not an issue for him) if she were to get elected. She had voters on both sides of the issue to cater to and she failed to do that. She ignored it by not picking Shapiro and not talking a whole lot about the situation.
I guess she thought it better to not risk stirring the pot and making it appear she was picking sides or speaking out against one and for another. She should have been more vocal about the situation, been willing to face up to it more.
In the end though, I don't think that it is what cost her the election. A lot people didn't turn out or vote for her for other reasons.
Also, if you don't think Trump is going to back Netanyahu bombing Palestine off the map, I don't know what to tell you.
