Official All Star Saturday Night (Skills Challenge!!) Game Thread 2/16/2013

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

Things can only go up for him and Aldridge after tonight.

I wish Shannon Brown would do the dunk contest again. His first appearance was really disappointing, but he can do better. Hell, he does better in games sometimes.

I'll never forget the '03 McDonalds All-American Dunk Contest... Shannon vs. LeBron. LBJ wound up winning it all with some pretty conventional dunks, but Shannon had the dunk of the night - a statue-of-liberty, 360 from just inside the free-throw line. He would have won the entire contest over LeBron, but he missed his final attempt.

Would love to see Brown in the dunk contest again as well as JR smith. Smith is a headcase but man he can pull off some amazing dunks. Barnes looks like he might be able to pull off some interesting dunks as well.

Brown blew his chance in my opinion. I wouldn't want him in it again.

ok, I'm already bored with this shit.

Where's all of the people at? I can't believe Portland can't get one of these, at least the arena wouldn't be empty.

I remember someone telling me once (why certain big cities don't necessarily draw well) that there is a ton of stuff to do in those cities, unlike Portland.

Yet, Houston has almost 6 million people to draw from...and the place isn't packed?

tickets are expensive as fuck and/or given to corporate sponsors.

I went to all star saturday night/dunk contest when it was in LA the first time at staples and I was only able to get tickets through a sponsor.

Last year I went to the rookie/sophomore game, it was really empty too...so so tickets were like $100 each.

also, most people just show up for the dunk contest. shit is EXTREMELY boring live.

No one wants to be in town for the weekend with our depressing weather.

well, hopefully Lillard does better than Teague.

Lillard killed it.

yay! even with a botched finish (missing the ball) he did great.

Tony Parker botched it? wow...

Parker screwed it up for the west.

LETS GO LILLARD

Hopefully Jrue misses a few jumpers. He should do ok on the passing.
