Other things play into that, such as what jurisdiction it took place in. Also some things are technically not illegal, or hard to prove, but we all know what's going on. Like his paintings selling for 1.5 mil. Come on man...

Once again. If we have evidence of Biden being corrupt I'd like to see him go down for it.

Somenfool spending a ton on a bad painting doesn't qualify, IMO.

Not that I've seen. I literally said I'd like to see Biden go down for corruption if we have evidence of it.

I've not seen any MAGA statements come close to that regarding Trump.
I'm not talking about things you've said in other posts--only that which you said in the post I quoted.

The MAGA fools say a lot. Trump has a TON more corruption charges filed against him than Biden.

I would assume if Biden were as corrupt as Trump the Republicans would have just as many charges filed on Biden as Democrats have on Trump.

I'm not sure what else can be said. I'm not going to assume somebody is corrupt just because of some rumors on 4chan and X...

Isn't that basically the same thing that MAGA's said about Trump's felony convictions in response to his detractors arguing that he's actually guilty of far worse?

It wasn't in response to anything but the verdict. They are just making excuses for Trump and trying to delegitimize the outcome of the trial and that he's a felon now.

Nothing was ever there for me with this story. No matter the angle. I didn't buy that he was simultaneously a known unreliable crackhead and a key cog in some Ukranian bribery scheme. They play this desperate voicemail or whatever it was on Tucker in 2020 that made Joe look like a good dad, which is such an impressive backfire if you think about it. And to top it off, bullshit paperwork gun charges?:bored:

Delaware charged only 10 people with that crime that year. All of the others had committed violent crimes.

Hunter Biden was the only nonviolent person charged with that crime.

Cool. Thanks for allowing Trump to feel even more bulletproof.

I still want to know who he pissed off that made him suddenly feel the need to get a gun. If you read the story of that epic binge of binges, something went very wrong.

I was surprised that they even threw those lesser charges at Hunter, but now it makes sense. Get him convicted for tax evasion and a Mickey Mouse gun charge, then you have an excuse to pardon him for these lesser crimes, and not for the major offenses. Biden himself even stated it was for "selective prosecution" yeah...selective prosecution under his dad's own DOJ.

And this is the longest time frame someone has ever had blanket pardon for. Going back to 2014, when Hunter joined Burisma.

This is all shit we were trying to tell you lefties for years, now it's basically been admitted to.

I read President Biden statement. It is easily available. I don't always agree with him but this time I do. What was done was totally outside legal precedent, an agreement worked out with DOJ was nixed by partisan put in by Trump to dig up dirt. I can see why Biden did not act before election but no reason not to now.
There is also well founded feat over how Trump Justice department, unable to lock up Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden, would treat Biden's son. And I agree with @Everything Beagle that I would not vote for Hunter Biden.

What father wouldn't pardon his son or daughter, if given the opportunity....He absolutely did the right thing.

Except that now, if called before Congress, Hunter can't plead the 5th.

Big deal. All he has to do is lie like everybody else. And as the soon to be 47th president has proven time and time again, Congress is useless as tits on a boar.....and toothless to boot.
I’m all for this honestly (if I’m allowed to indulge in a little nihilistic accelerationism), but I wonder if we will miss the era when more than zero of the parties in power had some sense of fair play. Feels a bit like that was the only thing hobbling us along.

Make no mistake, whatever government comes out of the ensuing chaos of naked corruption engulfing both parties will be what our country becomes for the next 250 years, but right now that could be ANY kind of government, even a good one!

This is my hope. I'm hoping people wake tf up from the shock we're getting ready to experience and realize we need make some serious changes.
