Do we need Houston to win or lose tonight vs NOP (IF we want to face Houston in the first round)?

Spurs handling the Suns at the half! I know we need Clips and Spurs to win out, but the Memphis/Houston situation is confusing to say the least.

I think they just said that Russell Westbrook just got his 16th tech of the year which means that he is suspended for his next game. When they are trying to make the playoffs. What a fucking idiot.
scores 53 so far, team down by 5 and that technical thing - idiot

I thought I'd never say this but I wouldn't mind Memphis this year. Their hurt and struggling lately maybe we can take advantage of that.

Ah what the hell am I saying we'd get demolished by the Warriors in the second round anyways ..

Pelicans have the Wolves still left on their schedule. All they have to do is win that one and they're in if we handle OKC tomorrow.

really wonder about that Westbrook possible one game suspension with 16th technical, New Orleans up by 7 with 4 left in 3rd

At this point it's almost guaranteed we're playing Memphis or Houston

All things considered not a bad draw at all both are a wounded injured team.

Added to the list of things I never thought I would have said 3 months ago: where would the Rockets be without Corey Brewer?

I would bet my left nut the NBA rescinds the technical on Westbrook. Especially if they still had a chance to make playoffs if Pels lose. Typical NBA.

54 points on FORTY THREE FG ATTEMPTS for Westbrick!! That's unreal, his stats are so misleading. Looks dominant but with his usage rate, I would never take him on my team. He's trash and a hot head

Our odds to play the rockets go up if the rockets win. Now I believe we will face the rockets if them and clippers/grizz win out and spurs lose one.

he has a player option this summer - about 5 mil, he will likely opt out IMO and I'd love to have that energy on the Blazers

Thats what I always say when people talk about his ungodly stats. He has ungodly stats but he has the highest usage rate EVER and its not even close.

Basically it seems very likely that SAS, HOU AND LAC will win out so it really comes down to the MEM at GSW game

If they all win out then the order is

1. GSW
2. MEM
3. LAC
4. POR
5. SAS
6. HOU
7. DAL
8. NOP

If MEM loses then the order is:

1. GSW
2. SAS
3. LAC
4. POR
5. HOU
6. MEM
7. DAL
8. NOP

I don't know if there is a scenario anymore where we can play Memphis but some please correct me if I'm wrong

I fine with either HOU or MEM. Under the circumstances I don't think we can even ask for any better. Not having to play SAS or LAC in the first round is a win in my book.

If SA wins out they are guaranteed the #2 seed.

MEM in 5th seed if they beat (a possibly resting) GSW otherwise HOU in 5th.

you're wrong. If MEM, SAS, and HOU are tied, it goes SAS, MEM, HOU in that order.

Unless MEM beats GSW without Marc Gasol and Mike Conley tomorrow night, it is very likely that we play Houston.

Gotta love it when Russ decides to play "hero" ball. The more he tries to take over a game, the worse OKC's chances of winning.

In games where Westbrook has attempted 30 or more FGs, OKC is 2 and 8.

In game where Westbrook has scored 37 or more points, OKC is 2 and 10.

And some idiots actually think this guy is a legitimate MVP candidate, because of his "historic" play. Yeah, historically bad if you look at stats beyond the basic points, rebounds and assists. His FG% is terrible, his 3FG% makes Andre Miller embarrassed for him, he leads the entire league in missed shots, by a wide margin, on spite of missing 14 games, and he will be the only player in NBA history to have USG% > 38 and PPG < 35.

And then there are the results, and the stupid ways he chokes away close games. He had to know he was 1 technical away form a one game suspension, and with the playoffs on the line, he gets that 16th technical and gets suspended for his team's most important game of the season. Great leadership there Russ. Way to piss away your team's entire season!

That's amazing that RW is suspended. Fucking hilarious. I hope we win tomorrow. He would never live it down.
