I think NO would take the Laker job in a heart beat for several reasons. The biggest one is he may not have a job in Portland if the team is sold.
Having said that I don't think the Lakers will offer it to him.

but again, JA could easily have a different policy; we don't know. So saying if the Lakers were talking to Olshey it is tampering is taking things pretty far out onto what could be incredibly thin ice

Olshey is an LA guy. He has complained about how hard it is to attract free agents to Portland. The Lakers could be offering the jobs of both President and GM to Olshey and a doubling of his salary for him to just take his dream job. Maybe JA isn't shitty enough to stand in the way of that. All of that is entirely possible

that said, I doubt it's true
Really all sides to this are conjecture and I think we're all aware of that, no problem with that either!
I just don't really think NO is the type that LAL would go for, maybe if the Blazers make it to the WCF or something this year his name gets more buzz. I'm not sure.

Several of your posts imply things have changed with ownership. There has been no indication that anything is different with Jody Allen. Once again, I'm going to continue to roll with that until something happens to change my mind.

Obviously the Olshey haters are hoping he would love to go to LA.

As a certified NO hater - :) Im not sure, if they make it to the 2nd round and play a great series or make it to the wcf’s without Nurk, I think us NO haters need to hold off another year because he made some legit good moves at the trade deadline this year and personality aside some playoff success was the goal this year.

I know you can be reasonable sometimes!

The true Olshey haters can't give him credit for anything.

I am perfectly willing to give Olshey credit for bringing in Curry, Hood, and Kanter. What I won't do is pretend he is blameless for the payroll mess that means they will walk at the end of the season.

Nah man, if Blake won't help us on the city because hes hurt for playoffs, then Nurk can't either. That's your logic.

I'm not talking about Nurkić. You are. So stop conflating the issue.

Nurkić is already a Blazer and under contract for 3 more seasons. Griffin isn't and hopefully never will be a member of our team. Trading for his injury prone ASS on THAT contract is stupid IMO and has nothing to do with Nurkić's injury status.

Stop including him in this.

They interviewed Meyers on NBATV a little while ago and he was great. Talked about what a great culture they have and how all the players are great guys. You could tell he thinks something special is happening.

Your hate is irrational.

Imma need you to stop with your accusations bro. Really.
Accusation? Lmao. You're trippin.

I've disproven those notions on multiple occasions, but then you'll use coincidental timing to try to establish some sort of factual basis. Dude's been within 5 games a year on average of Aminu for the past 4 years. Bad timing for him to get hurt now. If he got hurt three to four weeks ago he still would've played around 70 games and he would've been ready and fresh for playoffs. You can't establish a trend as repeatable in the future without solid reasoning.

I haven't implied that things have changed...I've implied that we don't know, one way or the other, meaning your speculation that the Lakers talking to Olshey would be tampering falls into those things we don't know

in other words, there's no real difference between 'things have changed' and 'things haven't changed'. Both are speculation based upon ignorance of what's really going on. It's possible the rumor is false, but if it's true, it's possible the executive is Olshey. But as I said in my previous post, I'm skeptical about the rumor

Anyone watching the TNT game? Those Brooklyn uni's are... uh.... different...

I sure hope San Antonio wins this series.
Denver is a difficult matchup from what I've seen all season. The Spurs are up and down but when the Nuggs are cooking, they are impressive.

I hope Nuggets win, if we win our series, Lillard would destroy Jokic in the PnR, and we have the defense to give them a hard time on offense. I'm not impressed by the Nuggets
