Every time I see it reported that a player said something like that, it just comes off as a big flashing warning light to stay away from that guy.

At the same time...if this were in fact the case, why would he want to go to the Clippers, where he would arguably be the third option.

I feel real bad for MIN fans. I agree with he’ll leave, I don’t agree that the reason he leaves is the small market. Dame stayed here for 11 years, and we’re a small market team. The reason Edwards leaves is because their FO royally F’d them for the what, the next six years? They had a good thing going, but they weren’t good enough to make an all in move.

The days of Dirk/Kobe/Duncan are over. Giannis won a ring for Milwaukie, and even he now is a threat to leave. Realistically, the clock starts ticking to compete when Shae and Scoot start entering their rookie extension. Then we have a 5-7 year window with this backcourt to win a chip. The MIN situation should be a precautionary tale.

Fuck August the month didn't do shit for us. We signed a guy that will likely be on the Remix after training camp and nothing happened concerning Dame. It will go down as one of the least eventful months in Trail Blazers history during one of the most crucial periods of time in the history of the franchise.
