Jordan can have the accolades. As I get older I think LeBron, being the elite physical specimen that he is, who can probably play all five positions on the court, and is likely the most well rounded player of all time, is the guy you'd pick to start a team if you could have anyone in the history of the game
29. I've been watching basketball religiously since I was 4. I saw tons of Jordan playing. Dude was amazing. But from a physical and well rounded skill standpoint, LeBron is more talented. You can make the argument Jordan wanted it more, and I won't disagree, which makes a huge difference. But I think it's easier to build a team with LeBron than JordanHow old are you?
I don't disagree. However, lebrons mental game has improved by leaps and bounds over the years closing that gap. Jordan couldn't touch LeBron physically. I'd love to have seen LeBron able to use his strength more like back in the late 80's and early 90's hammering guys going to the hoop.LeBron is a better physical specimen, but MJ had the mental edge that still makes him the best.
But you were 4 dude. Jordan was way better. Maybe the best athlete in ANY sport ever. And his body of work is way better than LeBron's. I mean in Jordan's first Finals, he averaged 31 ppg 11 apg and shot 55% from the field. LeBron is awesome in these finals but he is shooting terribly. Jordan was an unstoppable force in the post. You could put three guys on him and he'd still hit the turn around. I was 17 when I saw that. I don't claim to know anything about Magic or Bird outside of stats because I wasn't following it closely then. I've watched since 1990 and the four best players I've ever seen are Jordan, Shaq, Hakeem, and Duncan. I can't claim to know about players before that. I know you were watching the games when you were but you were four. You can't claim to remember much of that. If you were older, you would know that Jordan was better than LeBron is now. MVP and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season. Over 10 scoring titles. 6 Finals MVPs. Never lost in Finals. But that doesn't take anything away from LeBron at all. LeBron is one of the best players to ever play the game, no question. It is doubtful he'll pass Jordan. We'll see.29. I've been watching basketball religiously since I was 4. How old are you?I'd start a team with LeBron over MJ. You can plug and play players around LeBron far easier.
Doesn't matter. Jordan was an asshole who was lucky to have pippen, Rodman, kukoc, grant, etc. And Phil Jackson. How old are you?
It does matter if you're too young to have watched Jordan's whole career. You have no idea what you are talking about.Doesn't matter. Jordan was an asshole who was lucky to have pippen, Rodman, kukoc, grant, etc. And Phil Jackson.
He also played in a desirable city.
You put Jordan in Cleveland to start his career and he would have been known as the 2 guard 'Nique.
Van Gundy predicted the Warriors would blowout the Cavs tonight. Not exactly a homer. And not only do the announcers obsess about LeBron, they practically sound like homers for Cleveland.
I think LeBron is more athletic than Jordan. And I think if LeBron wins the finals with this rag tag group, it should become a lot closer in everyones minds. But you were 4 dude. Okay. Cool.I think LeBron is more athletic than Jordan. And I think if LeBron wins the finals with this rag tag group, it should become a lot closer in everyones minds.
I get it, but I wasn't your average four year old. I was reading box scores each morning in the paper and obsessed over basketball. I got to see his first and second threepeats. I watched a ton of his second threepeat team because Dennis Rodman was my second favorite player (first being David Robinson because I had his rookie card).
Cavs have made life hell for them. The only time the Warriors have looked good is the OT period in Game 1. Otherwise, the Cavs have owned them.Dubs seem like they don't really care. Wtf?
I don't blame him though. Rookies are a crapshoot. Looking back if Cleveland offered us Wiggins and Thompson for LA I wonder if Neil would do it.Kind of a kick in the nuts for lebron as a GM though, how nice would it be to have Wiggins right now, to go with a shitload of cap room after next year?
If I were a betting man, I would put good money on a blowout win for GS tonight.
