I'd like to see LeBron just go crazy Michael Jordan level takeover right now. The story is there to be written. I just want him to overtake Kobe in the GOAT lists tbh
LeBron is way better than Kobe ever was. I've never seen a player make scrubs look like high level role players like LeBron has, all while averaging some insane numbers.

Anyone who puts Kobe over LeBron is obviously either a Laker fan or a LeBron hater.

Fractured knee cap...it's not looking good for the Cavs..Steph Curry is going to have record numbers. Get out the brooms!

All people will look back on are the number of rings, finals MVPs and regular season MVPs they had. Right now, LeBron is what, 50% win percentage in the finals? Not really good on his "legacy".

He is 2-3 probably gonna be 2-4 in the finals but the dude has gone to 5 straight, that's intense.

yeah but that's kinda shitty tbh when you're talking about legacy. like that guy who is almost always getting laid. not the same thing.

I think finals appearances mean something. LeBron has played some crazy good teams in the finals too.

'07,'13,'14 Spurs
'11 Mavs
'12 Thunder
'15 Warriors

No, it doesn't mean jack shit when you're talking about the Greatest Players of All Time. No one looks at who they played. Only how many times they've won. Zero excuses. We're talking about an elite bunch here. The reason why Jordan is considered the GOAT is that he was undefeated in the NBA finals. No one will be able to touch him ever because of that.

Whenever a great team like the Warriors comes up in discussion, the natural discussion is "Jordan's Bulls would have wiped the floor with them".

This Warriors team would have given Jordan's bulls a run for their money. I could see them winning it, to be honest.

Let the flame war begin!

Wake me up after they've won six rings together.

All I'm saying is if LeBron wins THESE finals without Love or Kyrie, I think he, at a minimum, moves into a tie with Kobe on the GOAT list (speaking on a historical standpoint).

The question posed was "This year's Warriors"... we're talking one year. So, I guess my point was valid.

Hey, we can do that for any team. This year's Hawks in the first half of the season could be Jordan's Bulls! Hell, this year's Blazers in the first quarter of the season could be the Bulls! (since we're talking about teams that haven't even won anything yet)

You're not getting it, are you?

See this mashup of the old NBA on NBC finals shit brahs?

Maybe people can shut up now about offense not winning championships, or jump shooting teams not winning etc....

Well, at least we're seeing that healthy jump shooting, high octane offensive teams can defeat beat up opponents. Beyond that, I guess we'll have to wait until next season and hope for a finals with two healthy teams.

I hope Steve Kerr trolls Phil Jackson hard.

I think Kerr gets credit for figuring this out for this style of play...He's one of those smartest man in the room types, I'm thinking.

In the end it comes down to getting the team to buy into playing D. He has done that with little to no impact in hindering the potency of the offense.

They won the West, and that is really all that matters. The East is pathetic. The cavs only mustered 53 wins in the East.

Every single team they played in the playoffs had its starting PG either missing or banged up. I don't know if a team has ever had an easier path to a title than the Warriors. I think they were the best team this year, but they also prove my basic position that it's the best healthy team that wins the title.

Steph Curry has yet to meet a defender as good as Scottie Pippen in his prime.

Is it the fact that they are the best healthy team? Or that they are THE healthy team?
