Peyton is in Joe Montana in Kansas City mode though, I'd like to think Colts fans woldn't have booed him.

If you compare age and per 36 minute and advanced stats, this particular Plumlee is basically Joel Freeland without the accent. He'd be nice to have short term, but when Rolo and Freeland come back, he'd be in the same position in POR as he currently is in PHO - 3rd string center struggling to get consistent PT. And, that's not worth a 1st round pick, even if it's in the late 20s.

Barkley says Best teams in West are Portland, Memphis, and Dallas.

Anyone not even including Golden State on their list is a moron and should be disregarded entirely.
Regular season doesn't matter. Warriors lost in first round with basically the same roster last season. It will be 0-0 again when the playoffs start and Warriors can't stop Gasol/ZBo, Dirk, or Aldridge. Rain Bros can cancel out the Splash Brothers.

Last season has no bearing on who the best teams in the West are this year. GS has been flat out dominate all year.

Just seemed convienent, I guess.

But, really, no GS? That doesn't seem right. Take Dallas or us off and put GS there.
His reasoning, which I agree with, is that you need an All Star big man to throw it to in the playoffs. GS doesn't have that. Not on the level of Gasol, Aldridge, and Dirk.

No one is awarded a championship for a big win streak in the fall. You have to beat a playoff team in a 7 game series to be a contender. Warriors didn't make any significant roster upgrade to a team that couldn't win a playoff series last year.

I'll tell you for certain that Memphis and Portland would win a playoff series against GS and it wouldn't go 7.

Gasol/ZBo were 19/33 against Warriors and beat them. Aldridge dominated GS and only lost because refs didn't call Batum's timeout. It won't help GS that they blew out all the other teams if they can't beat these two teams.

Speak it KS!! Speak it into existence!!!

I like how you dismiss win streaks in the fall, yet use early regular season games as an argument as to why they'd be beaten in the playoffs. Seems rather contradictory.

They don't call him Kingspeed, as in "King of hyperbole" for nothing

Memphis just made a big trade without being afraid
Making a big trade made them the best? I think that statement had nothing pressing on the trade, but the state of the team in general.

GS made no moves without being afraid either. What's your point?

He doesn't make points. Come on now.

Sounds like Tom Thibodeau might be on the hot seat
Awe. The poor wittle princesses in Chicago hurt dere wittle ego?

Seriously, Thibs is a damn good coach. Running the players to the ground in practice?! Fuck those players or management that's complaining. He's developed some mediocre talent into elite talent. Took a team without any star power to the playoffs with a mix mosh of mediocre players. Fuck he actually made Boozer into a defensive player!

Very true. I'm a huge Thibs fan.

I'm not sure what the ish a "mix mosh" is, but other than that I fully agree! :)
