Approaching the last round of games in October. Naturally, it’s almost time for November around the NBA.

I’m including the Blazers in the Poll because they will close out October with the best record in the West.

Which team would you say has surprised you the most one month into the NBA season?

What storyline do you feel is the biggest one so far?

Fail… Meant to select the “exclusive” thread tag.

By "First Month" do you mean October or an actual month of play because that would be Oct 18th-Nov 18th? Are we including preseason?
Lets get your act together on this poll? Way too many holes in it! It's either way too little info or irrelevant because of Pre-season?

October is the first month of the NBA regular season. It just has fewer games because they start late in the month.

Of the options, I chose Utah, but I think the Spurs also deserved inclusion. As did some other teams with unexpectedly bad records like Brooklyn and Miami. It's unfortunate you're only allowed to grant 10 choices. I mean, who really had the Thunder and the Warriors with the same record at any point in the season? This whole first 2 weeks has been topsy-turvy!

I'll also say that the Hawks absolutely do not belong in this poll. The three teams against whom they've picked up their four wins are a combined 3-15. Atlanta's a mirage.

Valid points. I guess I should have taken Minnesota, Phoenix, and maybe Atlanta off of the options and replaced with SA and some surprising bad starts like you said.

Or have gone completely different and asked which team would have the best record in November.

Feel free to nuke this thread if you want to.

I nuke nothing...but I can edit your poll if you'd like.

I wasn't really trying to critique your poll (except with my Atlanta comment) so much as offer observation on the craziness of the league as a whole.

See, this is why i don't create threads like this.
There will always be a mod that will come along and nitpick it to death and then i feel like a complete fail! Damn them and their rationale!
Hey man, I think it's a great thread and a great poll. What you take as nitpicking or criticism is nothing more than discussion and validation of a very worthy topic. I'm competed agreeing with and supporting the point made by the poll-- there are a LOT of surprising teams in the early going.

Atlanta is a head scratcher. They are supposed to be killing it.

There are a lot of options, for both questions and answers. I’m not sweating it.

Don't sweat it at all. People can take it or leave it.

I should have chose a greener font. :)
