And say goodnight to the Lakers. 0-5.
Didn't you say they were going to make the playoffs?
They still could.
They still could.
Oh brother. How did you like that Damian Lillard three last year?
I was here after that, Houston Sports fans are pretty used to heartbreaks. With that said, I wasn't posting on talk trash or anything. I just think the idea that Harden flops for his FTs is a bit much, when I'm pretty sure there isn't a player in the NBA that drives into the lane as much as he does. The Lilliard shot did more good than harm, Harden has turned into a guy that actually defends and contests every shot because of it. So it's in the past and that failure seemed to have driven him to do much better on defense.

Kobe has put up 37 shots so far. Go shoot 37 jumpers in your driveway some time... Now imagine doing it against defenders in a 48 minute game. He's going all out hero ball this year and will be going down in a blaze of glory. Maybe he wants to catch Karl Malone.

Harden is the biggest flopper I've seen in many years of watching NBA basketball. When someone mentions flopping, I immediately picture him. His name is synonymous with flopping league-wide, and I'd bet his name is first on the list when the subject comes up. The central message here is: he flops.
so those intentional turn-to-the-side and then flail in the air, shoot some random shot from the perimiter, and fall on the ground is driving the lane? now we have westbrook copying him. hes a bad influence, and i dont want him hanging around people doing this flopping business.
Too bad his defense still sucked this summer on Team USA.
Harden is awful in pressure situations. He choked in 2012 Finals and he choked last year. If he had played well in 2012, he'd probably still be on OKC and you guys would probably be in the lottery with Jeremy Lin as your best player.
Kobe caught and passed Malone long ago...
I assume you mean for the career lead in missed field goal attempts. Kobe leads Malone by about 700 misses and widens the gap every game.
BNM
Meh I get it, you guys don't like Harden. Nothing I say or show you will change your mind that he doesn't flop
I honestly and truly mean this in the nicest and most sincere way possible, if that is fun and enjoyable for you to watch as a fan then I feel really really sorry for you. Legit or efficient or not it's gross and disappointing as an opposing fan. It's not basketball in my opinion but to each their own opinion.Harden got all of his foul shots driving the paint. I don't know what people expect the refs to do, he gets past his guy with relative ease and I promise you, pause and slow it down...he takes a lot of hits directly on the arms. He doesn't go to the line jump shooting, he goes to the line driving the lane. The reason he's getting more FTs is because last season he had this bad habit of jacking up step back 3s that he hasn't really displayed this season yet.
Man, my fantasy team is sucking serious balls. Westbrook got hurt, Lance Stephenson is a bust so far, and Noah/Drummond have been a pretty big disappointment so far. I have Noah, Drummond, Monroe, and I'm getting crushed on the boards. It doesn't make any sense.
i dunno... stephenson is doing alright to me given his situation... just a few less points.
but yeah, wtf is up with noah?
This is quite possibly one of the most homerific posts I've ever seen in my life. Holy crap dude. I get that the NBA is what it is, and stars get calls, but come ON. You think he is getting 18 FTA legit? I mean... seriously? Harden is the most manufactured star I've ever seen. Practically half his points come from the stripe.

If you say so man, how is your post not biased? Do you have any proof of what you say? Just that he averages 18 FTA per game(He doesn't) says nothing, just like saying that Harden played great defense last year because he got a few steals per game said nothing about his defense. It's funny because Miami fans that actually watched the game said nothing about flopping. So when did he flop in the previous game?
18 FTA per game isn't even accurate right now, and Michael Jordan averaged more FTA per game so I guess he was also a manufactured star. Lebron James as well...manufactured star...and Kobe Bryant as well...all Manufactured stars...
Or there is one thing they all have in common with James Harden...they all drive the lane a lot (except for Kobe at times) which nets you a lot of FTs.
Do you as a fan enjoy watching centers like Robin Lopez play post defense on Dwight by flopping? There is a reason why low post offense is disappearing in the NBA, and it's not because there are less skilled centers. It's because players like Robin Lopez whose idea of post defense against stronger opponents is to get the other guy in foul trouble by falling down when the stronger player backs him down. Which is why guys like Al Jefferson succeed because he's a finesse big men on offense, if you bring power to the post nowadays it is a foul, thanks to the refs rewarding guys like Robin Lopez when they fall back flail their arms instead of actually establishing a good base and keeping their man from backing them into the paint. That's disgusting to me, man up and play defense like they did in the 90s. Keep a strong base and keep your man out of the paint.
But Harden simply slashing into the lane is an affront to the game now. Not how the NBA has made the power center an extinct species now. Now tall lanky guys and stretch 4s play centers now.

Show me where Jordan averaged 18 attempts per game average. Link?
