Can the NBA fine philly players for not trying or something? They don't even put their hands up on defense at times.

I hope we are clicking when we play them next week. We could probably score 160.

By the time philly gets its act together, the lack of fundamentals will have poisoned all their young players. If ever a team needed Nate McMillan, it's them.

Says the 2nd most cockiest fan base only behind laker fans

And psst... I'm just using your "it's not the same team" logic. Our team is much better than last year's team. Your team isn't better in any shape you can dream up.

Enjoy the bottom buddy

9-2 record...yeah I'm enjoying the bottom right now.

We are not better? You can continue to believe that, Parsons was replaced by Ariza. Lin was never that good, in fact he was the reason the Rockets lost a game because he had the silliest turnover a NBA PG can have in that situation. He's not helping the Lakers much either.

See this is why you are a perfect example of how bad rocket fans are. Can't accept that you lost fair and square. That improbable game was because no one on your team could stop him since he is mad legit. And that 3 pointer went in because your teams communication was so horrible that he got wide open, and he's the fucking truth in the clutch.

Learn the game

Actually, I gave this team mad props after the game...it's this fanbase that is being disprespectful. Acting like they swept a team they did not.

Do I really need to go back and look up all the posts that your shitty fanbase made about how happy you were to face our team?

You have the best center in the game and the best shooting guard and you LOST. That's fucking pathetic man. Your team doesn't know how to play as a team. You gave up Asik and Lin for nothing. You lost Parsons for nothing. Don't worry. It will catch up with your shitty GM eventually.

And your fanbase is returning it in kind right now, trashing our team all year long lol. Many Rocket fans actually enjoyed the Blazers and felt for them for the Roy years.

Asik WANTED to go, he wanted to be a starter.

Lin was not a good player. I don't know how many people need to understand this, he's not a good player. Canaan is better than Lin is, Beverly is better than Lin is. Terry at his old age is better than Lin is.

Beating a team in six is not barely beating them. Real talk. Talking about a bad Game 6 when Game 7 wasn't devided is some Red Sox fan base bullshit.

Yes it is, real talk. Series goes 7 games, our series went 6 games and would have went 7 if Parsons wasn't as laterally slow as he is and knew how to rotate on defense.

No, see, you're talking like you would have won Game 7 if only Parsons hadn't fucked up. That's loser talk. That's loser-that-doesn't-know-he's-a-loser talk.

Im not a big fan of this rockets team and I know superbeard took the bait but man Blazers fans as a whole seem to loathe the Rockets.
I dislike Hardins flopping with a passion but give the team a little credit for coming out the gates firing.
Theyv got the Best SG and the Best Center in the game as well as three starting very good defenders. If McHale gets his head out of his ass and figures out how to fix their 4th quarter offense the Rockets are going to be scary in the west, although every team in the west is going to be scary this year.

I don't like your team. Plain and simple. I don't like Harden. I don't like Dwight Howard. I don't like them as people. I think they're tools. Especially Dwight Howard. He's a piece of shit that hits his kids. Defend him if you like.

I don't like your entitled fans either. Your fans talked shit. You had a big head. You lost and your fellow Rocket fans made excuses. Lots of excuses. It was the fault *laughs* of the refs. It was the fault of Lin. It was the fault of blah blah blah. You couldn't accept that you were outplayed. Our fans hate your fans. For most of us, you guys have climbed up there with Laker fans. It's that entitled attitude that turns everyone off.

Houston fan here. You guys were definitely the better team and congrats on the win. I'm not so sure why the Rockets are so hated around the league all of a sudden (Personally I believe it's better, it means other fans actually think your team is relevant.) but it is what it is. Rocket fans have never really had any issues with you guys. You're not the Jazz or the Mavs and I'm sure Rocket fans said a few things during the series...it's a playoff series, that's to be expected. I'm sure a lot of Rocket fans are salty right now too, it was a tough loss after all and in general Houston Sports ranks somewhere right around Cleveland sports except Houston Sports teams give you hope only to take it away...

All of that is besides the point. I wish you guys luck (especially if you play the Mavs) and you'll find that a lot of Houston fans do so too. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=254195

You guys have a bright future and I have a feeling our teams will be meeting up in the playoffs again some time in the future...if the Basketball Gods will keep our stars healthy this time around.

That's a good post above me there.

I want to comment on Parsons now...I'll throw up if the Rockets decline a Rondo acquisition because of Parsons again. He's a very overrated player IMO by other fans of other teams. He has a lot of bumps in his game and he runs his mouth and doesn't back it up more times than not. He thinks of himself as the 3rd star of this team but in every game was abused by Batum when it mattered. He's supposed to be a three and 'D' guy but his defense is average at best a lot of times and so is his three point shooting. His real strength though is being a SF that can handle the ball and push it up and being a glue guy. He's a really good player don't get me wrong...but I'm just shaking my head at Morey for two thins.

Reportedly not giving up Parsons for Rondo
and
Trading Aaron Brooks for Jordan Hamilton.

Both Rondo and Brooks are proven playoff performers and instead Morey did what he tends to do. Get more excited about 'Potential' than getting players with proven track records.

Sorry, I just saw that post and had to rant. That is the downside to Morey, a GREAT GM but he gets way too excited about 'Potential' and if he wants to build a true contending team he's going to need guys that have been there and done that sprinkled throughout the roster.
It's certainly possible for you guys. The West is up for grabs this year.

LMA is going to have a bunch of tough battles either against Duncan or Dirk and then likely against Blake. Should be fun if you guys continue on through to the finals. It has a good chance of happening, I wouldn't doubt this team...especially when it comes to hitting shots in the clutch.

Hey! But I'm the guy not giving the Blazers respect lol.

Don't forget the hanging out with underaged girls thing.

Well said

Good God, were you just bored tonight? You win some, you lose some. Let it go.

Yeah, didn't have much of a game to watch tonight lol

Fair enough. I'm mostly woofing after a decent win, and you're defensive after a horrible loss. It happens.

Yeah, I don't know man. It gets tiring hearing people talk about the Rockets like they aren't even a playoff team. Whenever they win it's "Oh the Spurs were sitting players out." and when they lose to GSW no one mentions they had 3 starters out. Feels like everyone is waiting for them to fail so they can write them off.

Not used to the Rockets being one of the most hated teams in the league. During the Tmac-Yao years they were hte lovable underdog and "awwww" story since one of them would get hurt every year. During the Lowry-Brooks years they were again the lovable underdog team that scrapped and fought and a example of a good team not making the playoffs because of them being in the west...and now it's flipped, guess I'm just not used to all the trash talk :P

Okay, and you're one fan of many. There's even a few rare Laker fans that are cool. For the most part, your fanbase is unbelievably entitled.

Unfortunately, the Rockets have a lot of fans. Clutchfans is one of the most popular fansites and the more fans you have the more idiots there are.

I will not disagree that a lot of them are bad fans. Being over there tonight was horrible watching half the fanbase give up on the season, I don't really want to speak for most of them. Some of them are good and some of them are bad, since there are a lot of them people meet a lot of the bad ones.

I don't think anyone said you are not a playoff team. But I don't see you guys finishing tops in the west. I don't think you finish above the Blazers this year either.

I can relate; I stuck with the Blazers all through the Jailblazer years and it was TOUGH. The players were unlikable, the media hated us, and every fan in the universe loved beating us. You're not there with the Rockets yet, but I can relate with your situation. It sucks! I had fights with inlaws, my own family, all because I refused to see what a bunch of awful jerks they were.

And the reward I got for suffering through? The INSANELY BAD Telfair/Ha years.

That I can talk proud and loud about my team now is a fucking gift, and I don't forget that ever.

Anyone who thinks the Rockets aren't a playoff team is a fucking moron. They have Harden. They have Dwight. They're going to be in the top 8. It's hard to say at this point where they're going to finish, but they'll be in the playoffs for sure.

The Rockets are a horrible team. Almost losing to Sixers? Not scoring 70 against injured Thunder? Garbage. Rockets will be lucky to make the playoffs. Every team in their division is better than them.
