There are only 5 guys in the league that lead their team in FGA and shoot under 40% - Harden is one of them (along with MCW, DeRozan, Josh Smith, and Kobe Bryant) At 17.6 FGA per game, that's just not good basketball.

No playoffs for Rockets.

With the way Houston fans whined about the officiating in "clutch fans", could you imagine if Harden was on another team?! They would be boycotting the NBA!

It's funny when it's their player that flops. They think it's totally fine. But we all know they would be so pissed watching someone else doing it. That's a fact

Haha, you all whine about officiating way more. In fact, that whole exchange was actually about whining about officiating, yet you claim Rocket fans are the ones doing the whining.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

People who judge bball players by FG% just don't know basketball. It's a proven fact. Bad basketball huh, tell that to Kobe and his 5 championships.

A three wins the series.... Damian Lillard for three!! And the Blazers advance to the second round for the first time in 14 years!!!

Oh and btw, as of today that stat is no longer relevant as Harden is shooting over 40%...He's also among the best in combined rebounds/points/assists with the likes of Davis and Lebron and also tops in win shares amongst the likes of Curry, Davis...and finished 5th in MVP voting last season...picked up a gold medal on his way to start the season. Such a bad basketball player, and I'm the homer here...lol..

Not sure what you think this does to me? Scare me off? Your team won a playoff series in 2014 against the Rockets, congrats.

You forgot the one part that showed Tirico was actually a human being and not an ESPN made robot. "OH MY GOOODDD"

Says the fan of the team that gets to the line most, to the fan of the team that gets to the line the least.

I will bet you a thousand bucks we can review game threads and count the posts about officials and see who wins. Let's go back to the start of the season.

You game?

Yeah that was a terrible series for Harden. Probably the worst superstar to ever play a series.

In fact, he chokes a lot in the playoffs. I remember he was absolutely terrible in the finals when he was in OKC. He was terrible the year before last against the Thunder. It was so bad, Beverly cheap shot Westbrick to injure him for the season.

You usually hear people say that a person is in good company...This is that rare situation where someone is in bad company,

I was about to say that same thing. I found a similar grouping after Dame's first 3 games (it wasn't pretty), but that's a fun one. And it runs the gamut from young bucks who aren't that skilled, to Methuselah used-to-bes, with All-stars in the middle. Chuckers, all.

Harden would still be playing in OKC if he didn't choke in 2012 Finals. No way they break up a title team but why give a bench player choke artist the max. Made no sense to them.

Damian Lillard for THREE and the Rockets' season is over!!!!

He hasn't shown the ability to not choke in the playoffs. Remember how atrocious he was last year? He had some good stretches but overall he was very disappointing. Needless to say a couple more playoff performances like that and he will never find himself in the HOF.

He wasn't good because the refs didn't blow him and wes/Batum really shut him down.

Precisely. I said something about that one of the other times superbeard was arguing his stance with us. The reason the rockets will struggle in the playoffs is because hardens game is so dependent on the flop, which is not called in the playoffs. Harden could be a playoff winner....If he abandoned flopping.

Yup and refs really emphasize the "hands up" defense in the playoffs. Luckily for us our team is great at the hands up and not coming down defense inside (like the Grizzlies). We just need to work on pressure defense and going for steals (the only thing that can beat the Spurs imho).

Lol, wrong. I'll let you do the research on that though.

This is about as correct as one of your fans calling Dwight Howard a choker, which was also pretty funny.

According to the evidence he's more of a puncher.

Field goal percentage is what separates superstars from high volume chuckers. Imagine how bad his percentage would be if the refs didn't bail his ass out all the time. Rubio with a beard bad.

What? You really going to pull one stat and...okay...and it's FG% again...not really much else to be said, Harden's accomplishments while likely not even being in his prime speak for him quite frankly.

Nah just using the most important stat. As I posted earlier, his choking ways is the reason why your team hasn't advanced past the first round.

Haha Gerald Green just threw himself an oop off the backboard. Sweet play. He was trying to get a shot off against the defender at the free throw line and stepped threw and underhand threw it off the glass
