What a way to kick off the season. The Mavs showed how much work they need to do in order to be ready to compete during the playoffs. Returning their players really helped the Spurs. One would expect similar results for the Blazers since they had the second best player retainment. Perhaps the importance of this has gone overlooked.

Spurs Mavs game was a great game. Down to the wire! Mavs are underrated this season.

Aaron Gordon has so much energy but shit he is clumsy.

You mean Baynes? If so, damn that guy is huge. Yet another under the radar international player the Spurs have turned into an NBA rotation player. He'll never be great, but he sets picks, clogs the paint on defense and doesn't try to do too much.

Career high in BLKs for both Davis and Asik. Elfrid Payton got rejected 5 times. Welcome to the NBA rookie!

Davis and Asik also had 17 rebounds each and combined for 16 offensive rebounds. Man, ORL sucks. They may challenge the 76ers for the worst record in the league.
