I wondered about that too. Even if you didn't watch them this season it was on NBA.com's homepage for a stretch

I get all my NBA news from you.

So far this season I've learned that the draft class is a bust, that Allen Crabbe is a superstar, and the Blazers are the best defensive team in the NNA.

What else do you think I should know?

The draft class IS a bust. Never said Crabbe is a superstar. Just think he should get 12-15 minutes for a game or two and see how he does. And the Blazers are the FOURTH best defensive team in the NBA.

Rockets are becoming my #1 hated team. Howard annoys the shit out of me. Can't wait to play them and put them in their place.

No, it isn't even a rumor to my knowledge. I just think that BOS will end up trading Rondo this season. Getting Irving would be a pretty decent return for them. I think it'd be a good trade for both teams.

Because they're beating an incomplete SA team at home? Sure, they won handily and sometimes the Spurs win these games but I don't think they're for real. We'll clock them on Dec 22nd. Already circled on my calendar and probably theirs.

I'll watch the rockets in detail before I make a decision on their legitimacy.

I will say this though, I think Popavich believes his team is fine without HCA. I won't be surprised if they play to stay in the race at the end, and then play for matchups. It's a bold strategy that could leave the defending Champs very vulnerable, opening the door for a new champion in the west.

I did not know that. I wondered how it was possible they got blown out so badly.

"Resting" players 5 games into the season? Gotta keep those old legs fresh I guess.

I actually think Pops is holding back more than resting. It's like a major chess match, just in case Houston meets them in the playoffs. Better to hold your hand close to your chest so Houston doesn't have experience against your full strength during the regular season.

I wouldn't be surprised if he does the same shit against us
