(talking about not wasting games against bad teams early)...Even off to a good start is important. I contend that Portland got to the playoffs last year strictly by what they did in the month of NOV. So, this is not something to be discounted,

Not, not at all. I mean, you look at Portland, they were very healthy, they snuck up on teams a year ago, and stockpiled enough wins that they were comfortably in the playoff conversation. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies, and of course the injury to Mark Gasol didn't help, were at one point 5 games below .500 and had to go on a hot streak just to get in.

So to recap, if you're hot early,you're lucky and "sneaking up on teams". If you're hot late, you're studs. (Unless you're POR and win 9 of your last 10, I guess). If you're Mark Gasol and injured, it's horrible. If LMA is injured, no big deal. :smh:

I love the raptors home court advantage.

Also, Frye would fit in on this team really well. Smart money says he is a blazer again at some point in his career.

Memphis is a prime candidate to move to Seattle. Let the Vancouver fans at least get to see home games in Seattle..other than BBQ though, Memphis has really, really good blues

I'd say Atlanta is worse. They couldn't get get half attendance at playoff games a few years ago.

Curry failed to make a 3 pointer tonight. If I'm not mistaken that breaks a streak of about 75 straight games. And if I'm not mistaken Wes might have one of the next longest streaks. But I have no idea where to check that.
