Some serious Kentucky curse going on right now:

Bledsoe, Booker, Knight, etc: Suns -- 3-9
Cousins, WCS, Skal: Kings -- 4-8
Davis, Jones, Goodwin: Pelicans -- 2-10
Wall: Wizards -- 2-8
KAT: Wolves -- 3-7
Murray: Nugs -- 4-7
Noel: Sixers -- 2-9

MKG, Lyles, Randle are like the only players of significance that are on winning teams. Interesting trend.

East is so weak this year. Even Boston look pretty dire and they are one of top 4 teams there. Aside from Cavaliers and Hawks none of them look any decent, Pacers have been dreadful, Bulls have been very inconsistent, Celtics have been meh. Actually the way they've been playing, I would not be surprised if Bucks or (fanfare) Brooklyn made it into playoffs. Brooklyn in particular have been a surprising package, if they carry this on they will exceed the number of wins I expected for them in full season by Christmas (I had them down for no more than 15 wins, most likely 12-13). This shows the difference between a team that own their pick (Philadelphia) and the ones who don't and have no incentive to tank (Brooklyn). They're basically a collection of players nobody else wanted, plus Brook Lopez, yet they've already got 4 wins and have looked quite solid (last night aside).

Hey!! If we just ask the world to change East to West and West to East, we could win a ring this year!!!!

Calipari's recruiting mirrors Whitsitt's GM'ing. With more dollars under the table, of course.

The teams had to be bad to draft these guys in the first place and looks like many teams have just stayed bad.

I thought that at first, but upon review, it's Cousins hand.
It's almost an optical illusion making Boogie's hand look like it's Pauls...Paul got that left hand flick off so fast it is almost invisible

As meh as the Evan Turner signing was, Parsons is yet another free agent that saved Neil from himself by signing with another team.

Yeah. Turner at $16M might be mildly movable asset in the future. Parsons at $24M you could not move unless you added about three first round picks.

I'd like to believe that all the players he whiffed on would somehow dominate.
It does seem like when Neil is trying to give out a decent sized long term contract he goes for fit over talent but the small contracts he grabs whoever he thinks is talented.

Too bad we couldn't have played tonight - looks like it was the official "underdog wins" night.
