Former assistant coach of the Blazers Bill Bayno is stepping away from basketball for mental health reasons. Apparently he lost both his parents within the last two years and lost others dear to him during the pandemic.

It’s so sad to hear about all of the losses he has suffered and the grind of the NBA season breaking him. I hope he is able to find the peace he needs to be in good health.
