Portland just gave up two firsts for Covington, and their firsts will be better than Milwaukees

Convington will be better than whoever the Blazers draft at 16 and probably in the 20's next season. He's worth it. Basically we moved Ariza for a younger better Ariza

I wish they gave the 2022 pick instead of next years.

Weren't a few people proposing that the Blazers be boycotted when Paul Allen gave $100,000 to the republican party a few years ago? (Along with giving money to the Democrats as well)

Hayward will take the extension. Too much money to pass up.

That's what I'd figured, as well... then I read that numerous teams want him locked-up long-term before trading for him. Now, I'm not so sure.

Yup. That’s exactly how I look at it too

The first for this season wasn’t going to amount to anything.
Ariza bailed on the team and just wasn’t going to work here. I think we got Covington dirt cheap if you ask me!

I was responding to a post that questioned the Bucks 3 firsts for Jrue Holiday

I wasn't dissing the trade for Covington

all I was doing was comparing what Portland paid for Covington in draft picks, to what Milwaukee traded for Holiday in picks.

Do Bucks now have the best starting five?
Giannis
Middleton
Jrue
BroLo
Bogdanovic

Everyone good-to-great. Weakest is possibly Bogdanovic, but he's elite at shooting, which is super-valuable for the Bucks, and if he could get shots on the Kings, imagine how open he'll be in that lineup.
I just don't know if anyone can have a better starting five than a team with role players around LeBron and AD.
