My wife is Hispanic, and for saying so I get trolled on this board for it. Well, she's Brazilian, so I suppose that would be Latina, but whatever.

In the present, I suppose she is a "white-Hispanic", because the white half only counts for people who aren't black.

Obama and Holder aren't "white-African-American", because that doesn't sell to the LIVs.

By Brazilian, I mean that the people I've met there consider themselves all Brazilian, regardless of descent, be it Portugese, African, or South American.

Brazil has it's own issues, most definitely, but leadership there doesn't openly condone division based on race. Divisions are more based on socio-ecomonic status.

All of these men are national heroes in Brazil.
