To me it felt like we essentially we played Lillard at SG, Batum at PG, and Matthews at SF... did it feel that way to you guys?

I won't dare correct you, sir. ;)

That ended up being a really good game

You gotta make a dramatic piece on that. Like run on all cylinders with them high fiving. Then clippers come back and go up by seven. I'm sure their is clips of their head down and shit. And the final and a text showing batums let rebound was for his tripledouble!

Not here to type like a genius. I'm here to chat about the Blazers. Thanks for the concern, though.

Seriously I should be the last to correct anyway. My apologies... I'm sure I've littered this forum with grammatical and spelling errors

Don't have to apologize, it is just semi-annoying when trying to debate about something, which in this case is Batum. I am the first to admit I didn't see the game, but I was judging my view from the past few games moreso than this one. I just thought on the beautiful splitting of the double he should be taking the higher percentage shot in all likelihood than giving it to Lillard for 3.

I was so close to throwing the remote against the wall and turning this game off. So glad I didn't...

I will admit that I really wanted him to finish it hard after he spilt the defense like that.

no doubt, that was a poor decision, or maybe just poor execution

it was an aggressive move as a playmaker, but not as a scorer

Batum has been looking to pass way more even we he has open shots in the past few games. He split the double nicely and probably could have at least gotten fouled if not a dunk, instead he tried passing to Lillard. Needs to be more aggressive with his offense.

He also could have easily ended up with an offensive foul if he took it all the way to the hoop - I believe it was Griffin between him and the basket, and he had more than enough time and space to slide in front of Nic.

Yup agree. No one should get me wrong, I love the way Batum is evolving his game even more. He is improving his overall game which I think is great. But he still has to learn at times when to take the shot as opposed to passing IMO. He'll get it down :)

LMA the only starter with a positive +/- at +4
Just goes to prove that +/- is often a misleading stat and really tells you nothing about a player and how they contribute to a game.

now granted I don't get to watch as many games as I'd like (don't have CSN), I actually have gotten to the point where I expect them to have close games, and expected them to come back even with the clock being under 2 minutes.
