We need more than two prominent parties & term limits. Its obvious the two current parties don't get anything done and only want to disrespect one another. When there is no ability to compromise than there needs to be more options. Just my nearly 70 year old opinion.

I don't want term limits. That's telling a majority of the voters who they can't have with no other reason than a term limit. I want to choose whichever qualified candidate I want.

The longer a congressman or representative is in office the more they sell their souls to lobbyist and special interest groups, for money!
Plus, it gives others an opportunity to serve at the will of the people.
There is term limits on the President, that goodness.
Some of theses old gougers have made enough money (McDonnell, Waters) put them out to pasture.

Voters can decide for themselves. I'd like to see some effort put into informing the voters of these potential issues as they arise and then the voters will vote with eyes wide open.

Agreed. The election system needs to change for that to work though. As it is, third party candidates have no realistic chance of winning and end up just being used to elect one of the two main parties over the other by taking one sides votes away.
