Tired of watching Mo get absolutely torched by Jeremy Lin. I'd like to see what Barton could do against him. He's taller, he's longer, and he's more athletic. I don't think Lin would be able to do jack shit.

Lin won the game for them tonight.

No. We are in the playoffs, not in the first 10 games of the season. Barton has been a fringe contributor, it just screams "what the hell, let me just try something out of my ass".

Tough to throw Barton in at this point in the playoffs....but then again, I'm not sure how he would do worse than the performance Mo gave us tonight.

If Mo is struggling like he is tonight, I don't think it's a bad move. Houston played Daniels and that payed off huge for them.

No that is not the solution. The solution is you give Mo about 10 minutes in the game. If that. The starters need to play most of the game and I mean that. Our odds go way fucking down if we go to game 7 so we need to keep our main guys in and not fuck it up by letting dumbass Dorell in or smack talking, but dont do shit in the game Mo. only bench player that should get a little burn is TRob only because he hustles.

this is not the time to experimenting with newer lineups. if anything, i'd like more shift of rotation with less Wright and more Freeland/Trob.

Cant be putting barton in. I agree with Egame. Starters should all play 40+ mins.

Listen, I think Barton would give us a different look. He pushes the ball, he plays the passing lanes, and he's pure energy. He's basically Thomas Robinson in the back court. We need to throw a curve ball at Houston. They know what we're going to do. We know what they're going to do. Even if it's just for a few minutes, I'd like to see Will the Thrill in the game.

It's way too late in the series to make a serious adjustment like this. Only thing you can do is play the bench less.

oh god, you're playing hypothetical garbage time projection 2k14.

Our bench scored 5 points tonight.

Five.

Points.

I think we should make a change. Yes.

and that is to play a guy that's barely touched the floor in meaningful minutes...in the playoffs....when you're up 3 to 2. I mean I guess you can throw him out there, but chances are just as good he'll be a net negative, especially in clutch situations. you can make adjustments and then you can also just throw everything to the wind. Hell, Aldridge played bad, let's see how Meyers Leonard does.

When we went to the bench in late 1st early 2nd they made a big run, something's wrong with the rotations.
I don't know if the solution is minutes for Barton though he's been good off the bench and it's worth a shot. The president's idea for more T-Rob/Freeland is even better I think.
Also, Claver is not dressing up which I just don't get. Look at what Draymond does for GS, he is the same type of player, not even having him on the bench makes no sense.

That last statement doesnt exactly help. Aldridge is more known to step up and help us while we know Mo and Dorell will just suck more ass like they have most of the season. I can understand why he wants Barton over these two garbage players, but it is too late for that. Like I mentioned the solution is riding the starters to try and win. Enough with the bench and bad defense and getting us into holes.

i love the people's champ, but the playoffs isn't the time to free him. maybe it'll work, but you do this in other games in this series and mo williams doesn't hit that clutch 3.

We've won 3 games with Mo. Stay the course. Without Mo, we are down 2-3.

One can argue he is the reason we also lost game 3. He did afterall lose the ball which turned into Lin getting it and passing to Daniels nailing the dagger 3. Was Mo fouled? Maybe, but they didn't call it and because of that Mo was the reason we lost.

From this point forward, Lebron James could go on to win multiple NBA titles, MVPs and All-Star appearances, but his his GREATEST accomplishment will ALWAYS be the fact that he made Mo Williams an All-Star.

Small ball is killing us, because for one thing they're bigger than us. Mo looks like a little kid next to Lin, and Wright and Trob are not centers. Freeland or Leonard should be out there every minute that Lopez isn't. We get absolutely killed on the boards every time Rolo sits, and give up layups at the other end.

Leonard shouldn't be playing, not this year.
I agree that either Lopez or Freeland should play though, IMO for the entire game, unless Aldridge somehow becomes much much better defending the paint by Friday. I would like to see some Freeland/T-Rob together. Playing Aldridge with Robinson didn't work, neither did Stotts' insistence on playing at least two starters all the time. We had two starters playing throughout Houston's 15-0 run to finish the 1st, start the 2nd, didn't give us any advantage obviously.
I also would like to once again question not having Claver even on the bench. I think he's able to contribute more than at least 3 players sitting on the bench. I understand Stotts likes Watson as insurance but Claver can actually make us better.

Put in CJ when Daniels goes in
I wouldn't mind seeing CJ get some minutes. Mo and Wright scare me. They each have had one game where they played well, but throwing a new wrinkle could change the series.
