Look beyond the stats, people. WATCH LMA play - he's uncoordinated and has no power. He's a poor dribbler. While he has gotten much better at rebounding, he's still not great at it. And while his passing has improved, he's still not a good passer. He has trouble catching the ball on the move, which is probably why he's never developed a good two-man game with anyone. Aside from the pick/pop, he doesn't play within the flow of the offense - you pass the ball to him and it sticks, stopping any sort of flow and movement on the court. People say that he's one of the best shooting big men in the league, but the percentages don't support this.
Just watch him play and look at his body movements. Then compare that to all the players I listed above - they are all superior to LMA. They look like NBA PFs, whereas LMA looks like a rag doll.
