So, Nash: The Captain and GArenas signed up. So, after Mobruler signs up, that's 11. How many friends did you get to do it?

Also, CB4 probably won't be doing it. He responded to my message and he said that his 2k7 has a bunch of scratches on it, and he has too many gameplay problems. He said maybe he'd try and get a new one, but I have no idea how long that would be. That sucks though.

Also, Nash, try and get like 15 teams. I don't know, I just think 12 would just be too little. We have 10 signed up right now.. plus Mobruler hasn't done it yet, so that'd be 11. Then you got however many friends. Then, maybe we could get 1 or 2 people from 2ksports or something? Let's get 15 try to get teams. That's just my suggestion, but if we roll with 12-13, then I'll still do it, no doubt.
 
awesome.this seems to be going well.. Hopefully everyone is good in the game which will make it even more fun

I have played BigMo and iversonfan so far. BigMo is pretty good, iversonfan hasn't beaten me yet but he's not as bad as he says he is.

I'm going on now. Anyone wants to play, add Champ2007AT. My Mic is broken unfortunatley, so can't talk.I think we should just get one more member from here for 12. It's plenty. Too many teams and it becomes too hectic.

Yeah, but then if you have too little teams, it will be weird, because you will have 6th man quality players in the free agent pool, and a lot of team will have 3 All-Star players. Oh well, I don't care, but the more active users, the better, IMO.

But if we just do 12, no problem. Let's just get it started.
 
My roommate came tonight, but went to the hospital and got a cat scan... Maybe I'll be able to make the cutoff, who knows.
 
if theres 12 teams maybe there should be a rule .1. 1 superstar per team.. rating 87 or better2. 1 or 2 allstars rating 84-863. When its time for you to pick bench players you really have to pick bench players

No way. If you are in round 3, and it's your pick, and you see a player rated 80+ or whatever, you don't just leave him. That would put him in the free agent pool, considering nobody would be allowed to draft him. I don't like that rule. I'll live with it if someone has a killer trio or whatever, but I think 15 or more teams would be better. It would also give Justice more time to possibly join, and maybe CB4 if he ever gets a new disc.

EDIT: But, I don't want to wait all that long, we need to get this started soon.

If somebody can't draft right, why penalize those players who do draft well?

LakersFan, got the game? If you do, you could join the fun :PBTW guys, I will be making a rules list on the league site soon to make sure that nobody cheeses too much. So there won't be fullcourt traps the whole game, double teams on every player, camping with your center, constant swiping, etc.I'm pretty sure there isn't a free agent pool where you could just sign free agents. You draft all your players and the roster is permanent unless you trade.Personally, I think 12 would be good enough and even though we will all have quality players on our teams, it won't be too easy to score. As I've said before, I will be changing the sliders to make the game more realistic so there won't be dunks in traffic all the time, 3 pointers, etc. CelticBalla, thanks so much for your help, you've been great. Umm, maybe. What exactly would I have to do? I'm new to XBOX Live, and I'm just figuring some things out right now. Besides, BigMo and JKidd already offered to help you out with it.

Also, how many friends will join the league?
 
You will be given the permission to allow trades, manage the league site, write articles, correct game scores, etc. No biggie but just little things that help run the league. Also, you wanna play a game right now? :S I'm not very good but up for a game?
 
^^ if not I'll play... And Yeah I think the whole thing with defender always being the center is gay. its a good idea that your gonna make a rule on that.if u wanna play let me know

Yeah, people pussy out and don't actually try to cover the ballhandler. They switch to the center then let the computer guard the ballhandler. That's dumb. If you can't handle defending, then you need to practice.

But sorry Nash, I don't want to do it. Like I said before, BigMo and JKidd offered to do it before hand, too. So, you should be all set with help.

Yeah.. you can check my VIP stats. I just looked it said I defend the ballhandler 89% of the timelol balla I guess none of his boys joined lol cause he aint answering.... im bout 2 play him in 2k7 nowlooks like im not he signed off
 
I'm only asking one or two friends. I don't want there to be too many players in the league. I think 12-15 is a good amount, is that cool with everyone? :S
 
Yes, it's very cool. Let's just get this thing started ASAP. I'd love for the draft to be this weekend.
 
Yeah, that's what I was hoping. I'll try my best to get the draft done this weekend so we can get playing on some games next week.

Isn't it a live draft? The way you said that, it makes it sound like an auto-draft. It IS a live draft where we all pick for ourselves, right?

Yeah, it is a live draft. Oops sorry if I made it sound like it wasn't. I meant that I will try my best to get my friends to join the league by this weekend so we can have the draft. If they take too long, I guess I'll just find two players from the 2KForums.If you can't make the draft, you can set a pre-draft list with players you wish to draft and the CPU will auto-pick for you in the draft. But I wouldn't recommend it because it's not fun.

I basically said hey when are you going back. (This is important because he owns the 360 and had it with him) He said that he didn't know except that he wouldn't be back until 07 arrived. I was like okay that's reasonable. A mutual friend of ours said that he'd probably be back last minute, possibly even after school started (this Monday, or something). So yeah, with the XBL thing running out sometime soon, I was like crap.Anyway, yeah, he came home today and immediately asked to go to the hospital. Said he had a headache and some other stuff. My other roommate took him and when he came back said that the sick roommate had a CAT scan... blech. So who knows when he'll be back. I hate to be so selfish but I've been wanting to play 2k7!
 
If we do the draft over the weekend I will be able to do it anytime on Saturday, but probably only after 8 or 9 PM (central time) on Sunday.
 
I can do the draft basically at any time. If it is on Saturday, I would REALLY prefer it to be at (or a little after) 10 pm (Celtics game is at 7:30), but if not, I'll do it anyway. But if there is a way to get everyone on at 10 or 10:15 pm ET, that would be ideal.

EDIT: So, I can basically do this at any time, other than 7:30-10:00 pm ET on Saturday night.
 
There might be a problem, I won't be here at all over the 20th-27th of January and time differences, 'cause most of the time any of you guys are on I'm getting ready to go to bed... :thumbdn1:
