Who does everyone think will win the prestigious summer league mvp this year?

My early bets will be Jerian Grant or RJ Hunter

So we've signed two athletic defensive-minded forwards with foreign experience. I've got to say, if I was Montrezl Harrell, I'd be crossing Portland off the "teams who will draft me" list.

Portland should throw their entire cap money at Dellavadova. Great defensive guard off the bench

1. He'll stay with the Cavs, no doubt.
2. I think his defense depends on the player. I don't imagine he'd slow down Russell Westbrook much.

Great second point. He is great on perimeter oriented guards like Dame or Curry but he can't hang with the super athletic guys

This seems the appropriate place for this:

He apparently killed Luke Harangody:

high percentage shots, and he is gonna want to show his stuff

a little bit more on this guy. http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Trevor-Mbakwe-6339/
I'd feel a lot better about him if it had been a guy he punched in the face, instead of a girl.
Looking at his stats & advanced stats, he looks like he is a very promising pick up.
He carried over his game from NCAA to Europe without a dip. 0.60+TS%, 14+Reb/40pace adjusted, 0.50FTA/FGA (earns a lot of fouls), 13+ WS/40

I remember him from last year and thought he would be a solid late pick up if Portland bought a 2nd round pick.

OMG...he just explodes Harangody's face with his elbow...DAMN!

Mbakwe has some very solid 'ups' and a great wingspan. A cheaper version of T-Rob.

:matrix:

Why would Wiggins play? That makes no sense. Dame didn't play the year after he won ROY.

I kind of hope we get Khem Birch on our SL team - he's last year's Christian Wood, but he had a good year in the D-League and stresses defense. But we might have already got our quota of super-athletic, skill-challenged forwards.

Detroit start securing players for Orlando Summer League
With the draft over, many young, undrafted players flood the free agency market looking to earn a roster spot, and, as a result the Pistons have started filling out their Summer League roster. So far the Pistons have received commitments from UTEP forward Julian Washburn and Canisius point guard Billy Baron. Washburn was one of several prospects to work out for Motown prior to the draft, the 6'8" forward shot a career high 38.1% from three and averaged 10.3 points 4.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists over the course of his final year. Baron went undrafted in last year's draft, and spent the year in Europe playing for Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius. The 6'2" point guard played in 17 games, averaging 11.5 minutes per, in which he put up 6.1 points 1.0 rebounds and 0.8 assists, shooting .534/.475/.700.

Quincy Miller, Spencer Dinwiddie, Stanley Johnson and Darrun Hilliard are also expected to take part. Miller, 22, who the team acquired shortly after the February trade deadline, has been spending the offseason in the gym, putting on weight to play power forward, and is expected to have a strong SL showing. Dinwiddie rebounded well from an ACL tear suffered in college, and showed off the tantalizing skillset that had previously made him a mid-first round prospect. He should start alongside Piston draftee Darrun Hilliard in the backcourt, who will have the opportunity to showcase the talent and grittiness that led Jeff Bower and Stan Van Gundy picking him 38th overall. Johnson will start at SF, and give fans a preview of what the future will be like at the 3 for Motown, and hopefully shut down any lingering doubts regarding his fit in Detroit.

The Orlando Summer League starts on July 4. Start getting excited!

UPDATE: Steven Gray has also agreed to join the Pistons for Orlando Pro Summer League, per Dave Mayo.

As long as I get to see PC in summer league then I am good. I am calling him that until he gets another nickname because I am too lazy to type out his full last name everytime.
