I understand where you're coming from, but between him, Butler and Badji, we could only have two. Seems like Butler's got the better perimeter game, and Bad-G would have the better interior presence. Sarr was kind of middle-of-the-road between the two, and injured, so it made sense that he would be the one to go.I don’t like waiving Sarr though.
I don’t think it makes sense to have both two-ways tied up to two bigs.I don’t like waiving Sarr though.
My guess would be a lot of moving screen calls and cheap fouls to start out.The key for young players with this type of size is whether or not you can put them on the floor without worrying about them turning the ball over. He can help if he can just set some screens, rebound, and protect the rim......just don't interfere with the flow of the game.
I just watch Badji’s interview with Schmitz from December 2020 and he says he sees himself being able to guard all 5 positions.I guess Mike Schmitz is lurking on here…

I like Sarr too, particularly because he showed signs of being a shooter. But Badji is more physically imposing and a superior shot blocker, which we might need more than the shooting right now.
I like the signing just I also really liked Sarr.If Badji doesn't work out, might they be able to re-sign Sarr to a 2-way again?
I like that they are adding size. Butler and Badji are completely different types of bigs. Butler can be a solid 3-point shooter, where Badji wants to dunk everything but can't shoot outside of 5'....even though he has shown some decent tough (very) occasionally from the outside.
Badji bring a raw, incredible physical presence that we don't have, so I like that part. Now whether or not he can get it to translate onto the court....that is something else. At least he tries to dunk. Take notes Nurk.
I’m watching highlights and whatnot, and I see he’s hit a fair amount of midrange jumpers in game. His stroke is fairly fluid, so even if he can’t shoot consistently right now, he could be decent in a few years. If Badji doesn't work out, might they be able to re-sign Sarr to a 2-way again?

If the drop-off from Eubanks to Badji isn’t significant, I like his chances of getting a full time deal next year.
It's in 17 mpg. If you were looking on bbref, I dunno why they had it atv35 mpg, but the gleague site has it at 120 something total minutes over 7 games. Still not a bad number though. More blocks than fouls per game! Some encouraging shooting stats.
FT: 71.4% on very limited attempts
3-pt: 100%...on 1 attempt.
Also, only 2 fouls per game in 35 mpg. Also has some decent passing instincts.

Yeah, I was shocked by that initially. Damn, this kids out there 35 a night in the gleague?!Thanks. I thought 35 mpg seemed quite high. 2.4 blocks in 17 minutes? Yes please!![]()

Butler has played already
True, I had forgotten that one game.Butler has played already
Who’s going to volunteer to phonetically spell his name?
Butler has already seen game time against Phoenix.I wonder if he'll play before Butler does.
Had never heard of this guy, but noticed his freakish 7'8" wingspan. Then started watching highlights and breakdown. He is currently projected to go #40 in the NBA Draft Room Mock, but my goodness, imagine him patrolling the lane, dunking any lob anywhere near the basket, and then being able to step out and hit a '3', post up for a jump hook, and put back offensive rebounds with extreme prejudice.
Ibou Dianko Badji - 7'1", 240 lbs, 7'8" wingspan, 9'10" standing reach.
It's only highlights and he is raw, but there are certainly some skills that Chauncey talks about all the time.
