Re: Oh, No... I think I'm beginning to "love" my best friend...

Damn... If you guys have read my other posts on the current girl topics, I've spoken of a chick named Azzy. Well, today, I realized that it's official: I like Aziel. At lunchtime, when she was hanging out with another guy, I couldn't help but keep looking at her. :brickwall: Even when my ex-g/f, MarShawna, who is currently dating my best-male-friend, came over and hugged me and spoke to me, I kept my eyes on Azzy and the other guy... When Azzy finally came over and hugged me, I couldn't help but hold on to her... :wub:After lunch, we parted ways and I suddenly became depressed. I couldn't talk.. I have Psychology class after lunch and my teacher is (ironically) currently teaching about love. She noticed I was quiet and asked, "What's the matter, Omar?" I couldn't reply because I didn't honestly know what was bothering me.After class, I went down to the spot I usually catch Azzy before 5th period. We hugged and I suddenly felt better...Now, what I'm trying to get across to you guys is: I NEED HELP, MAN!Azzy and I have been best friends since... Hmm... I dunno... I guess, since I moved to Moreno Valley back in the winter of 2003 (we were both 13 yrs old). I don't want her to know I like her and for me to ruin our current relationship, you know what I mean? Now be serious when you post please:Should I admit I like her or keep my feelings bottled up like old wine? I mean, every time I see her now, I can't help but want her... Not only sexually, but in any "want" way ever created by man. Also, does anyone here have or ever had such a problem?

Um...I don't know why, but I feel a little queer after reading this. Anyway, about your situation...just tell her you like her, simple as that. You might be making this more dramatic than it really should be, too.

Re: Oh, No... I think I'm beginning to "love" my best friend...

It might be one of those situations where you start liking her because you are around her so much. It might not actually be 'love'

Re: Oh, No... I think I'm beginning to "love" my best friend...

Dude the first I got a girl last year I realized I started to like her mad other kids liked her too. Then my cousin is in my class and she is mad close with her she tell me after school the girl I like likes me I was like oh sh*t. Then she asked me out lol

Re: Oh, No... I think I'm beginning to "love" my best friend...

I dont think you have to say anything. It kinda becomes understood over time if you make your feelings clear without actually saying, "I like you and you like me, lets go start a famileee" People will start going "arent they together?" when they talk about you behind your back. If she doesn't deny this then you really are together. Or maybe thats just the way things work here at my school..

Re: Oh, No... I think I'm beginning to "love" my best friend...

The best way is to get everything out on the table. I wouldnt go as dramatic as telling her you "love" her, because that is a strong word for somebody that you arent dating. Especially in the way that you mean it. I would just let her know that you think about you and her being more than friends and that you like her as more than just a friend. If she ends up not liking you like that, it isnt that big of a deal. Yall would still talk....But if you dont tell her, its going to eat you up forever. I know what feeling you have right now, and it really sucks. The best thing to do is to get everything out on the table. I dont know if her and that other guy are dating or whatever, but if they are, wait for a little bit until that calms down, and then tell her. You dont want to start any trouble or anything....

People always talk behind Azzy and my back about the two of us. Yesterday (Wednesday) was a minimum day at my school and for minimum days, we have an hour long lunch. I spent the entire hour talking to Azzy. When lunch ended, a friend of mine, Irving, came over to us and asked, "Are y'all dating?" I grabbed Azzy's hand and began messing around and said, "Of course, man. You just found out?" Azzy smiled and then asked me to walk her to class. We held hands, too..Anyway, I feel awkward telling you cats this, but it had to be done. I'm not a bi*ch. I'll admit my true feelings, but at this moment, I don't know whether or not telling Azzy will be the best idea.

Re: Oh, No... I think I'm beginning to "love" my best friend...

I agree with ballerman here. Just let her know how you feel, but don't use the word "love." Instead, just tell her that you have feelings for her and you want to be more than friends, etc.

Word... I'm going to tell her what I feel on Monday. There's no school tomorrow here in California.

Re: Oh, No... I think I'm beginning to "love" my best friend...

Well der... I could tell you liked her since your first post about her. Glad you are finally admitting it. Good luck with that.About this... I suggest talking to her alone away from any of her little girly friends. And don't tell her you love her.... that will screw things up because it's such a strong word. Just tell her that you like her...you will regret it if you don't, trust me. I've been too much of a pussy to ever tell any girl how I felt and I regret it.

Re: Oh, No... I think I'm beginning to "love" my best friend...

Plus man you dont want to talk about this with some random guys on the internet and get advice from us lol

Re: Oh, No... I think I'm beginning to "love" my best friend...

Man, BBW is full of trendy topics. First Borat filled off topic, now these date topics are.

Re: Oh, No... I think I'm beginning to "love" my best friend...

aight, listen to this, dont just jump out and tell her, cause if she finds it weird then she may not be your friend much longer. Try just walking with a arm around her, make little flirtatious jokes. Talk sweet to her but make it seems your just joking. If she responds back the same, she proably like you too, if she doesn't and kindve doesn't go along, she probably doesn't like you that way. Try that, or a easier way is to ask one of her close friends.
QUOTE (Illosophee @ Nov 9 2006, 10:45 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Damn! Re: Oh, No... I think I'm beginning to "love" my best friend...

I don't think that's the best advice. I think you are just saying that because of how worried you are of telling her you like her.

Middle school crush threads...ugh boy.

If you like the girl, ask her out/ask if how she feels about you...don't waste time. I did all that sh*t in high school, just get it over with and be a man.

Re: Oh, No... I think I'm beginning to "love" my best friend...

well its not that easy for most people...
