I see Milwaukee is looking to move oj mayo.. Thinking we can move couple pieces to grab him or future first... Only has two years 16 million left on contract.. Move into starting two spot or 6th man role.. Thoughts?

... Who the heck is that? Haven't heard that name in a while.

My thought is that hopefully CJ becomes better than OJ.

I think I'd need at least Henson from them to take Mayo off of their hands.

It amazes me how sought after mayo was coming out of the draft. How the tables have turned

I thought he was pretty good for Dallas.

Do you think it's that? I thought he was more of a "ball hog" that had no understanding of team.

Yes I believe that he knows if he can score he will get paid and he will be because there is talent there.

Honestly, I thought he was good there too. Maybe he just needs the right coach.
He was ok in Memphis also, and seems to "get it" that he's not what he was expected to be out of HS. And accepts that. He'd easily fill the 6th man scorer role for us. And is an underrated defender, IMO. BUt again, I'm not bailing them out of the contract they gave him. I'd take him, but I'd want more.

Yeah personally I would love to have a defensive wing coming off the bench. For scoring, I would like a bench big that can score.

Mayo is still only 26 and if on right team like wAs with Dallas I like him a lot... Another thought is Wilson chandler is available to and could snag him.. One year left on Wilson's contract..

Yeah, I've been suggesting Shawn Marion as a defensive wing. He's played the 3/4 positions for the Mavs and he has experience working with Stotts.

I actually like mayo.

But I'd much rather just try to sign sefolosha for 1/3 of the cost

oj is the kinda player that will dog it when he plays for a team like the bucks..if he plays for a contender he could be a decent guy at sg in stotts system

I think the age is the problem. But I always liked Marion

He's dependable and played well throughout his career. His defensive mindset would certainly help in the way of improving the defense from within.

He was also the teams primary defender last season which I am certain did not help his numbers

I wouldn't judge any player from last years Bucks team. They collectively took a dive for the lottery. Tank city. I don't think Mayo is bad but I don't think he's a great fit here. I actually like Barton more for the role he'd play. Mayo seems to have gone into paycheck mode, cruise control. He's not Lillard, Irving or Lowry

Id take mayo from them if they gave us Henson back but not sure how to make the money situation work

It's a question open to anyone and most certainly you as well, buddy.

Did Stephenson have some team issues with Indiana?

I don't think it was him involved with the drama. In fact, I thought it was him trying to gather the troops. I maybe wrong though.

You asked Denny, but I wish we could somehow get lance Stevenson

I think we are going to end up paying Matthews around 8-10 million a season anyways, I would rather offer Lance 10 million then if he agrees swing Matthews for a future 1st round pick.

Kidd is clearing cap space to sign Lebron.
