...I dunno...I thought "High Anxiety" and "Space Balls" were pretty bad.

Yes, High Anxiety wasn't near my favorite, and only my kids liked Space Balls.......

my favs of Brooks: Young Frankenstein, The Producers, Life Stinks, and who could not love: Robin Hood Men In Tights, another VHS movie, my kids and I wore out.....

I love Space Balls... One of his best!

What was it about both movies, you didn't care for Steve...?

Personally, I've watched Airplane, until my VHS wore out, as for Blazing Saddles, I thought this was one of Mel Brooks best movies, in the sense, for its day, there were no movies in that era, (or very few) that pushed the envelope of Executive Movie Producers, who would of NOT financed Blazing Saddles for its tongue in cheek, satire of people, and simply painting the Old West, more like it really was.......Great Performance by Gene Wilder as well........

I've long loved this part of the movie, who wouldn't and why....?

I never cared for Leslie Nielason.... And I found blazing saddles beyond boring....

I caught Caddyshack on last night. Now that's some funny shit.

Hilarious, I never even heard of this Movie. IMDB.com shows a sequel, released this year, have you seen Hot Tub Time Machine 2......?

If so, how would you rate the 1st film, and/or versus the Sequel......?

BTW- wasn't that you, the guy in the restroom, who came in on the 2, wiped the soap off of His hands, onto his shirt, at the 23 second mark......??? Or was it Rick, in His earlier years.......?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2637294/?ref_=tt_rec_tt

I don't understand why both movies got less than a 7 rating by viewers. Some off the cuff, black humor movies often are over the top for the moderate over conservative viewers, and great movies often get poor reviews and ratings......

Tote:
Would you recommend either one? Tho' from what little I've seen, the Movie looks fkn hilarious. One can watch the entire movie on You Tube for $2.99

and-

would it be worth the time.......?

found this- these 4 friends started partying in 2010 and woke up in 1986..........

86 was a great year, and if there were a wild card, the Yanks would of had it. 90-72; 2nd to Bosox, yet the Yanx were 8-5 vs Beantown in 86, but 5-7 vs the Halos, yet the Angels would of self imploded like they did, no matter what team they played.........

I've never seen anyone run as fast round the bases as Ricky, in my entire life....Mays was close, Coleman not bad, but no one could better Ricky, period..........no one......

I saw the 5 games vs Anaheim in 86, can't ever forget Ricky Henderson hitting a weak line drive to George Hendrick; (the 1st round #1 draft pick by Oakland in 71). Hendrick bobbled the 2 hopper with his glove, dropped it, then kicked the ball (accidentally: I don't believe in accidents), and Ricky wound up on 3rd, as Hendrick then threw the ball over the 2nd baseman's head, into LF. Stand-up triple.

Thanks Tom.......Hope all is well with ya'...........are you still pondering the possibilities of moving to the Emerald City?

I've spent quit a bit of time in Seattle, Kirkland, Renton, Bremerton, et al. More for work sakes, (OBS Sections of the B2), in other words, the "Outboard Sections" aka Wings......still the biggest single composite AC piece in the world, created all in ONE Piece........

Prior to that, I spent 6 months, in 2 different trips, to ensure Integration of Rockwell Procedures, Policies, Specs, basically "All Command Media"; required to integrate Rockwell Command Media with Boeings CM; during and prior to Boeings buyout of the Shuttle program, and B1B's....

Did you know Bill Boeing Sold his company, in 1937, due to Congressional charges, Boeing was thriving during the depression, as they were the 1st to fly USPS via Air........a big money maker, which Congress claimed errantly, the Air Mail was a under the table handshake deal.
Bill was so bothered by the false complaints and accusations, he got sick of being a Corporate Giant, and retired, without giving the bird back to Congress......

Definitely worth the trip, Ivars On the Sea, is a Historical Seafood Floating Restaurant, downtown by the Wharf, don't visit Seattle without making this stop. If you order Salmon, you get a 14" Platter, and basically half of a small Salmon, which is huge, for a "small" salmon.........

Altho' if you like Sunshine, and not misty overcast days, then Seattle is not the place to live, visit yeah,, but live, that's another story. When the sun is out in the early morns, NO ONE GOES TO WORK, they paint their houses, or do work outdoors, which is a rare window, for Sun.....

Not hard to see why Seattle, The Emerald City has the highest Suicide rate, tho' I often doubt the overcast gloomy weather is the cause. Like Guns don't kill people, people do, same with Seattles Suicide. Now they've legalized Cannabis, I bet that Suicide Rate drops considerably.....

Enjoy it if you can, I wouldn't blink to move to the Land of Rainier, the Puget Sound, and British Columbia, is definitely worth the visit via a Ferry......
