I'd love to feel bad for OKC, but I don't. Perhaps if they wouldn't have ripped a team away from a community that supported them for 40 years, perhaps if their fans wouldn't have mocked us by saying that "injuries are part of the game" they may get a bit of sympathy from me.

Thuck the Funder. They were exposed. BTW, do they miss Harden now?

My feelings on them exactly. Its a shame because other than that they are a team I want to like but just can't.

Do you think Maynor was watching thinking, "Damn. That should have been my time to shine."? He would have been more effective than Fish.

I think OKC would have been a better all around team keeping Maynor and Harding and trading Westbrook.

Oops, lol.

Harden.

It was only the cheapness of their owner that caused it. They didn't have to give up anyone. Say what you will about PA, but if our core fleshed out and didn't have injury issues, he would have paid the max to GO, B-Roy and LA while ponying up for Nico and whoever else without blinking.

Yep! Clay Bennett and his cheap ass investment group will be the clippers of the 2010-20. Then he will sell the team once he realizes he is a dipshit.

In the meantime, we can continue to admire the amazing t-shirt color coordination that he orchestrates in OKC.

This playoffs is boring, borderline pathetic, the only team left worth watching is the warriors and they'll probably get eliminated in the next game.

Funny.. this is the first non Blazers involved playoffs I've watched any games of since Boston beat Lakers.

I have a few friends who are big Thunder fans (one who is related to a team member), but I can't help rooting against them. Why? Not because they left Seattle (I don't care about that) nor about Bennett's actions (I think that he made his hometown city pretty happy, which is admirable, even as he screwed over lots of other people).

I root against the Thunder because our team SHOULD be better than them right now. We were decimated by injuries and never fulfilled our promise, while the Thunder just kept rolling along, injury-free (setting aside Jeff Green), until this offseason. I don't wish for injuries for players, but I do wish for losses, and the Thunder losing makes me smile.

Man that part gets me also, I hate hearing people talk about the OKC win model. Im always like you mean the Portland model that OKC copied and had better luck with. I dont want to hate on Durant to much, I want to see him do well, just not too much too soon, all for personal selfish reasons of course.

I watched mostly the Warriors. Tried to watch the Knicks vs celtics and was almost traumatized. I know people here like what happened to OKC but it almost guaranteed another Heat championship which is just sad in my opinion. Also the Grizz being so successful tells you the story about these playoffs, such a meh team making it to the WCF, not to mention one of Indiana/NY being in the ECF....

I'm officially off the Ibaka bandwagon.

I HATE his offensive game. He's primarily a jumpshooter.

All valid points. I'm not sure why I started tuning in this year to be honest. I've been so turned off by Paul Allen/Comcast, and NBA basically being WWF in terms of results.

Maybe the fight intensity and the fighting between teams lol.

Right there with you. So frustrating to hear all the hype about the genius of their team, and then watching them let Harden leave for pennies on the dollar. Then you think of a healthy Roy/Batum/Aldridge/Oden lineup, and man oh man. That team would have absolutely killed, and Paul Allen would never have let one of those guys go to save a few bucks.

I am cheering for Memphis. I always liked Z-Bo's scoring and rebounding, and he's added the ability to be a good passer and a passable defender. I want to see him rewarded for all the steps he's made, both personally and as a player. I wish we could pair this version of Zbo with Aldridge (an Aldridge raised from day one as a Blazer to be a center and not a PF.)

Marc Gasol and Conley are also pretty compelling stories. Both guys who came up in the shadow of much more widely publicized people (Pau and Oden), suddenly forcing themselves onto the center stage.

The Grizzlies are just a really fun team to watch.

That gives me hope actually. Sometimes you watch the playoffs and think "damn they are so much better than us, we are not even close to competing".

But watching these games..... no one is really impressing me except Miami and Wade continues to hobble. Not saying we will compete next year, but if GS can make the jump in one year........there is hope.
