He was great on SportsCenter years ago with Dan Patrick, but horrible as a baseball expert on NBC, and also as a football guy on the Sunday Night NFL before the NBC game of the week.

I think he's actually a bit insane. Reading the stories about him in the ESPN book is hilarious. Nobody there liked him, not even Dan Patrick, if you can believe it.
