He is not strange or weird. He is a serial rapist who, apparently, thought his fame and position as self-appointed moral arbiter would mean he'd get away with it. He did, for decades. Women were reporting and were laughed at or told they were fortune seekers or otherwise dismissed. It took a joke from a man , "you tell us to pull up our pants but you raped 13 women!" before the story became mainstream and it turned out to be not 13 but more than 30.
What is strange or weird is the assumption that a woman who is raped must be a liberal, as though rape were confined to women of certain political views.
What is strange or weird (or maybe not, really) is the men who set themselves up as moral arbiters who turn out MUCH worse than those the attack. Rush Limbaugh, 4 wives, no children, calling women who use birth control sluts. New Gingrich, 3 wives, calling for consitutional amendment to keep gay people from getting married. Bill O'Reilly, sexual harasser, wife beater, blaming Beyonce (whose children were born in marriage to the man she has been with her whole life) for pregnant 14 year olds. The Duggars, making robocalls against gay rights, calling gay people child molesters, covering up their son's multiple molestations.
And someone on this board who freaks out over gay people even existing talking of rape as something amusing.
