41 and noticing that SheedSoNasty has been my alter ego on the net for well over half my life… sheesh. I need a better hobby.

I miss the SnapperI remember if there was ever part of a game I was going to miss when I was real young…..I would record the Schonz onto a cassette and listen to it later. Did the same for COURTSIDE even in the late 90s.
Jimmy Jones and Steve Jones, the absolute Gold Standard in Blazer Television broadcasting teams. I wish Calabro would go back through old Blazer video and learn some valuable lessons........I miss the Snapper
I was going to like the first sentence, but then I was offended by the second, so no like for you. This place will be a ghost town once the boomers pass on. Yabba!
It will be just me and jlprk
When I was in my 30's I wouldn't have been able to spend so much time in a place like this....Especially with so many old peckers. This place will be a ghost town once the boomers pass on. Yabba!

more people here on medicare than I suspected
I'm making sure that I live long enough to recoup my investment in Social Security/Medicare.

Turning 65 shortly. Been a fan since the 70's. Favorite all time player.....Mercy mercy.....Jerome Kersey.
My mom had a saying about the old guys sitting at the end of the bar everyday....in the same seat. She called them dead pecker row.
this is the weirdest A/S/L role call I've ever seen.

In the mid 70’s, as young veteran scrambling to make a living working part time jobs and going to school on the GI Bill, I would occasionally take mental health breaks and slip into a favorite West Moreland watering hole (Rubensteins. Eventually became the Iron Horse) for Happy Hour. I loved hanging with the old neighborhood retirees who were there daily, slow working their Happy Hour pitchers (cut glass!) of cheap draft and ragging on each other. And I so very dearly envied them there hard won retirement. And I couldn’t wait to get there myself. Well here I am. Unfortunately those old holes in the wall are few and far between. So is cheap beer on Happy Hour…,,We used to call them "dirt nappers" .....but I am way too close to being one to use it anymore.
Well that is a pretty interesting nugget. I assume you no longer own the Alibi? When did you/he sell? Was at game 1 with my dad, courtesy of Harry Glickman. My dad used to own the Alibi on Interstate and he and Harry were friends. We got a tour of everything and met some people, including the Schonz.
My dad was definitely more of a Buckaroos fan, but I fell in love with the team immediately
70s? I was still young and had hopes and dreams. My dad passed away when I was young. I should add that he was a part owner with some navy buddy….. got nothing on that name thoughWell that is a pretty interesting nugget. I assume you no longer own the Alibi? When did you/he sell?

https://www.poetry.com/poem/53911/let-me-die-a-youngman's-deathnahhh....you don't want to recoup on Medicare. You want to stay relatively healthy and out of doctor's offices until you drop dead one day in your late 90's
So many stories about things that happened at the Alibi in the 90’s70s? I was still young and had hopes and dreams. My dad passed away when I was young. I should add that he was a part owner with some navy buddy….. got nothing on that name though
All this decorum and politeness was self taught
